Realistically, I think we're generally poor at defending corners whether we keep someone up on the half way line or not.

Out of interest, did the corner start as a short one, or was it straight over?

It was just shown on SSN, Corner straight over, someone heads it, falls to a player about 12 yards out who volleys it at goal. Takes a deflection about 4 yards out and goes in.
