Why is it? People say that it isn't Coventry City (the team) when they play in Northampton but it is the same team that plays at away games? I have seen things like Cobblers FC, Northampton Reserves, SISU FC and people saying that they don't want to watch SISU FC. Yet when the team gets on a bus and goes to Shrewsbury it is Coventry City again?

And round we go again.....

Fuck me and I thought it was just SISU, ACL and CCC that were arguing and pathetic point scoring like a bunch a of fucking school kids in the playground. Can't wait for someone to say 'my dads bigger than your dad'
What we need as fans is a clear and positive course of action on what happens next. Step up the SBT? I can't help feeling that this wouldn't be allowed to happen if it was any other club.

We are playing well going forward but why does everyone keep thinking we are doing well? We are leaking goals at will. Unless that gets sorted this will be a long season.

I have saw a few people say "I cant see Preston bringing many" Just for you NOPM people, Preston have been allocated 900 and they have asked for more so now they have 1,300. So yes they will bring quite a few and yes a few more cov fans are going than they did against Bristol, So yes it will be a higher attendance..

That I can accept, it is just when people go to away games and support the same team...

I think a cursory look at the results yesterday will show Coventry City FC drew with Preston 4-4.
The fixture list will show their next game is at Shrewsbury.

...I believe that is Coventry City?

For the whole season? For 2014-15? 2015-2016? Till 2018 at what point does the name mean nothing in your eyes??

You will be well aware that the FL have stated on record the temporary ground share is just that 'temporary'? You do understand that don't you? They will not permit CCFC to remain out of the Coventry area. Of course you can disbelieve the FL if you like but there would be little point in SISU keeping us away from Coventry's catchment area any longer than possible.
Of course if you wish to believe otherwise based on no facts what so ever other than a feeling in your stomach then go ahead...

Jesus christ. Firstly, it's a select few people who label them SISU FC, Northampton Reserves, etc. Secondly, I believe the people who are saying that the team are not representative of the city are saying that this is the case that the team moves there on a permanent or even semi permanent basis. Furthermore, surely you understand that going to away games as opposed to home games is a way fans can show their support, get to see the team play, and at the same time (by boycotting "home" games) attempt to starve SISU out by restricting revenue? And therefore prevent it from becoming a team that no longer represents the city? Don't get me wrong, I don't believe you needed it spelling out for you at all, I'm sure you knew this....

You'd like to think so.

I'm starting to wonder....

Who says 500 tickets were given away?

Some wum on here is the only source I've heard of.

Beginning to bore me now. Free tickets were given out at the Ricoh. Most would have been childrens tickets given to schools, half term schemes etc, yet I'd put money on it that adults used them without hesitation. Not like tickets get checked before / during entering the turnstiles.

What's the difference now? Is it just another reason to hate SISU?

And what powers do the Football League have to force them to return? Would they have the balls for the legal fight, that would surely ensue, if they attempted to exclude CCFC from the league for failing to return?

It's a damned sight harder to get the genie back in the bottle than it is to say 'you're going nowhere' in the first place.

Seriously based on a feeling??

Facts-they are playing outside of Coventry at the moment

Facts-there is no plan and the fl have stated as such

Facts-3 years became 5 years without so much as a take or leave

Facts-without CCc intervention sisu will get nowhere near the Ricoh

What feelings have you had my friend??

There are currently well over 3,000 tickets available for Shrewsbury. A cursory glance at the seating plan will show anyone this. I've got my tickets and look forward to the match.
Eastern, can see now exactly where you are coming from.
A real Sisu puppet. And a scab. You're a disgrace.
Hell will freeze over before I watch CCFC at Northampton. Thousands like me.
but you'll be more than happy to cheer on the team alongside the scabs and sisu puppets. Or are they no longer scabs for a week because the game is in Shrewsbury?

I'm 22 and i had a ST in the last 3 season of the Prem and I've had one ever since.

Are you naturally a tool or is it just an image you're cultivating?

Go to Sixfields if you have to, respect those who don't (the majority). There's a lot of passion on here and your not constructively adding to the debate.

BTW correcting others on spelling is just a sign you've lost the argument and are deflecting.

The suggested difference was free tickets were being given to people in Northants (youth clubs, youth teams etc), and that the proportion was high. Of course Sisu will want to do what they can to promote the view KCIC is crumbling. Possibly desperate times desperate measures....

Ah, made up then? Sorry, I'm suggesting you possibly made that statement up.

Read it and use your brain. 'suggested'and 'possibly' may give you a clue.

Lets for the sake of debate say all tickets were fully paid for, it's still a crock that only 1500 odd City fans are attending, thats slightly above our away attendance average for last year.

But then it shouldn't be a surprise as we are playing away every game for the foreseeable future.

What's funnier is that we have people upset regarding free tickets however it makes a massive difference when free tickets are given away on a 1.5k crowd against @ 10k last year at the Ricoh. It males no difference though if no free tickets were given away, the attendances are still a crock of shit and once Autumn/winter kicks in, it will be embarrassing.

The Police,
They told us on the Sunday they were aware of tickets being given to lots of Youth Clubs in the area

They go round making statements like that, don't they?

Another Coventry liar having a go at sweet innocent Sisu eh? The world full of those nasty Coventry liars.

[The police on duty would know if non-Coventry people were entering the ground as there may be a safety risk]
