if he goes for 1m plus you can hardly blame sisu

although from what i have seen of the kid he could go far, lets hold on for 2-3 years, maybe get promoted and sell for 3m!

Pretty sure it wouldn't be a quick buck, would just go into running costs to help battle NOPM?

Yes your right Nick SISU are in a battle with the majority of its customer base and for that reason Tim darent sell anyone . Not yet anyway . He badly needs the attendance to creep up. He wont achieve that by selling. With his comments like "were in for the long haul and weve budgeted for this and that it would be a massive own goal if he did .

I am not a particular fan of our current regime, but being realisic, whoever owns us (unless Roman gets bored of Chelsea...) we will continue to be a selling club.

Personally, I still haven't got over the sale of Dennis Mortimer!!

Just hope that when we sell our more marketable players we try to get the timing and the price right.

Not just SISU. It goes back decades. Started with Gillespie for me.

Does SP now own CCFC then ??

Listen history tells us what SISU are about they've sold every player who's ever commanded a fee...Sisu make the decisions not SP

To be fair, Gillespie moved under freedom of contract and as I understand the club offered him a fortune (in the terms of the early 80's!!) to stay. Oddly, he decided he'd be better off at Liverpool....

The general point stands though - and probably always will.

imho, sisu have never been able to get the price / value, right,
i could count over 20 players who have left for an undervalued sum,
exactly what, in footballing terms & knowledge, have / did,
Clouting, Igwe, Dulieu, Brody, Fisher, Seppala; bring to the table ?

You're a genius then because they've all been undisclosed for the most part. As are most transfers in the football world before someone tries to suggest this only happens at CCFC.

I blamed them for Bigi (well Thorn mostly) and Connor and Id blame them for this. You simply don't sell academy players before they've had a full season with you in the first team.

Officially but the figures are fairy well known.

If you read between the lines of this story, what it really says is you need to come back with a better offer.....

Wells from Bradford is being linkjed with a 3m move to QPR

Love the fact that IF Wilson does leave, it will be the fabns fault due to NOPM.

Why on earth is it always CCFC fans fault. We have put up with so much crap and FINALLY we are taking a stand. As soon as we did, its our fault they are forced to sell Wilson.

Whats the story with Turner, Juke et al, that our fault as well ?

Look, I'm no fan of SISU, but it's a bit harsh to say they sell everything that's not screwed down. In the last 2 years we've 'sold' 4 players of value (Keogh, Jukiewitz, Bigirimana, Turner). Most other players that left did so because their contracts ran down or were deemed surplus to requirements. I'm perhaps in the minority, because I believe SISU are actually trying to rescue the business, just failing miserably in terms of public perception. I disagree with a lot of their decisions and actions, but I find it difficult to accept that they are doing it out of spite, and just want a quick buck.

Officially but the figures are fairy well known.

In other words someone; a journalist or someone on a forum plucks a figure from the air and reports it as fact.

I think you'll find phrases like "believed to be" are used a lot.

"The fee was believed to be in the region of..."

no matter what you will class sisu as guilty, which means there is no point listening to you

rumour player a is going -its a fact, fuck sisu
oh hes staying they say - hell still go,fuck sisu
he stayed - they probably couldnt offload him, fuck sisu

and never will you say, shit i got that one wrong.

I guess people have developed such a mentality by chance

So lets go back 2 years 2 months. Nearly the whole 1st team squad left. Who got replaced? We got relegated. The only players we kept were either injured or not wanted by other clubs. There was nobody else to sell. Who can blame any of the players for not signing new contracts? They even messed players about with new contracts.

I don't have a problem with selling players. It has always happened and always will. But the idea is to replace them. And not sell them as soon as they start playing well and keep the lesser players.

Pressley insists it would take a “ridiculous” offer before the club would consider selling any of their players."

Is it not a fact, that "Ridiculous offers" are always enough to buy our players, I noticed that Biggi stood out for Newcastle last night and looks a real asset, Newcastles original bid of "Peanuts" was turned down, But when they offered Cashews, SiSu/Finance Snatched their ...KIn hand off.

ITS ALL LIES,SHITSU WILL SELL HIM FIRST BID THEY GET

*if you dont agree you are tim fisher

The "not for sale" is as always a case of until we think that's good business. As time has gone by with playing staff, SISU have cashed in early, poorly, stupidly...& sometimes sensibly. He'll go in January if he keeps his form, probably somewhere like Leeds or some other mid-high Championship club OR a nurturing approach through Liverpool or Arsenal. Either way we'll get nearer £1.5m (with sell-on %) rather than the likely £500k Sheffield would pay at this stage.

:jerkit:Sorry Elvis all good intentions but, Fisher is proberly on the dog and bone to Joy Diversion trying to sell sell sell , then he will just blame the fans ( nopm ), when he has stated Shitsu have the finance to run the club, same old same old Timmy boy.

calum reminds me of theo wallcott with strength, less pace than theo but he holds ball up so well for a smaller player, quality player imo

Wonder if ccfc will offer callum a new contract (pretty sure he signed a 1 year contract at the start of the season), especially with clubs sniffing around.
Same with Daniels, except he signed a 2 year contact in the summer.
