Can I just point out that this fucking pathetic bickering and constant bringing every line of debate back to someone being pro/anti-sisu, as is the case in this thread, is the reason I (and I am assuming others) stopped visiting this site as regularly and certainly why I stopped posting as much.
It is ruining the forum.
I am all for logical and informed debate, in fact I actively encourage that, but the bickering is tedious.
Sorry, rant over and I am sure this is not the right place to post this but I had to vent my views and some of the main culprits in this have commented on this thread.

Ooh, 'Rant over' must be serious.

I agree with you to be fair but sometimes I just can't help myself.
I have to comment when I see bollocks posted.

I reserve the right to comment when I'm mentioned in threads I haven't even said anything in.

Perhaps my lack of comment proves my SISU rent boyness ;)

Yes do go along Grendel, I am sure everyone there will be only too willing to give you a knuckle sandwich.
Everyone? All 3 you mean?

My point exactly, it seems like it is more (not always) the hardcore anti sisu / nopm kicking off on here, not reading threads before calling them sisu lovers or scabs. (Not all if them, but it seems.more from that side)

I don't want to get into this argument, but this is a pretty lame excuse.

I would say I rather appreciated the tone of the latest Trust statement, and Michael's KCiC one too (not convinced by a picnic, but the sentiment that it was peaceful, a bit more neutral in presentation trying to force a resolution, all good).

Be nice if we could all follow that lead really.

Probably because there are 10 times more.

It's factually accurate. The forum is being derailed by people who are not representative of the average supporter and are far too friendly with good old ACL

There's always been the odd loony tune like sky blue John (always reminds of nursey in black adder 2 for some reason) but the latest influx are nasty, sneering and aggressive. They try every trick in the book to suppress debate and many have succumbed.

Bullshit. 90% of CCFC attendees from last season are not going to Northampton. All bar one that I know in person blame ACL maybe 10% for our situation. You are the loony minority. You talk of debate as if it's a notion that you are familiar with, yet I have never seen you indulge in such a practise: you're too busy being...now, what's the words? Nasty, sneering and aggressive just about covers it I think, don't you? Oh and of course insulting, your speciality.

Is this argument still going on?

Just to clarify on free tickets in Northampton

1) schools - our schools went back yesterday and in fact some don't even go back until today. So I'm sure the schools have more important things to do than worry about giving out tickets

2) the local league started last weekend so yes they may have been given out.

3) Northampton have very good links with schools and sports clubs. I'm pretty certain (especially as they're supposedly being sued by acl for stealing customers) that they wouldn't allow sisu to try to do the same.

Until I see concrete proof that this is happening I wouldn't worry about it

Don't come on here with your so-called "facts".

We reserve the right to ignore anything that doesn't fit the narrow narrative.

Quite possibly yes, but the large % don't have to ruin thread and resort to calling people sisu lovers when they haven't even read the thread, this one is a great example...

I think after a day most threads have burnt out.
Perhaps they should close after 24 hours?
People can always start again fresh .

So says the number one forum troll, who seemingly has to get a whine in about the protest on every thread. Who are you to say what represents the 'average' supporter?

"Nasty, sneering, aggressive". I think you've been reading your own posts again Grendel.

Pages of bickering and jumping to conclusions based on skimreading? This isn't like you, Skybluestalk.
