he said just because a club sacks you doesn't mean you no longer love the club, they are close to my heart,my girls were born at Walsgrave hosp.
things happened when I was manager that shouldn't go on,this was way before sisu.but to go to northampton is an outrage

Didn't belief in 'operation premiership', figures given publicly by board during his time with us were lies, had his two best players in Scowcroft :)laugh:) and Sheff sold, e erythema happening now is just wrong, and fans deserve better, football needs to brought back to the City, watching games as he lives 20 minutes away, but also due to the match against us in 2 weeks time

Pretty much, and said the lack of additional income/match day income was a massive issue back then and one of the reasons this club has struggled.

Micky Adams did NOT get everything right at City but for me he was an OK manager at Coventry. Better than a lot of others.

The season he kept us up after Peter Reid almost relegated us was good, and the season with Dennis Wise was a good one too.

Doing a good job with Port Vale also, having just got them promoted to League 1. Also played for us as well as managing us, so a few reasons to like him.

Got a lot of time for Micky Adams, thought he was hard done by when City gave him the push. Although he did sign some bilge but then so does every City manager...........

I think Stupot is trying to tell us, again, that Sisu's dreadful record since they took over has nothing to do with Sisu being dreadful.

Anyone looking at their business record over 5 years knows otherwise, they are dreadful.

Micky adams programme notes from saturday
As a former player and manager of the Sky Blues I am more than aware of the rich history of the club and exactly what the team means to the city of Coventry. With this in mind, I think it is inconceivable that the team aren’t currently playing in the city to which the club has contributed so much – and I feel for all the supporters who are finding it difficult to support a team who are playing in Northampton. Let’s hope they find a solution in the near future because the club, staff and supporters all deserve better.
Micky also joined the Former players ass too

Micky Adams thinks that Micky Adams did alright until Micky Adams saw Jamie Scowcroft sold against Micky Adams wishes.

Micky Adams was a good manager. We played some neat attacking football under him. That 6-2 win in the last game at Highfield Road was a highlight. I'm sure people will go on about win percentages but his heart was in the right place and clearly the club was struggling at that time. I'd have him back
