We all know that plan A is to distress ACL to the point which they can pick up the Ricoh for next to nothing BUT what is plan B?

As I understand it ACL are actively looking for alternative uses for the Ricoh - seems to be no goodwill on any side to get together to sort CCFC playing in Coventry any time soon

You really can't blame them for that Pete. They have a business to protect.

I'm not so sure tonylinc that the idea of stressing ACL is still the objective. It was, has been but I believe they may have moved on from there. According to some opinions ACL are perfectly capable of continuing into profits without the football club so with the football club no longer a tenant then they are no longer distressing anyone accept the fans!

Plan B must be to sit back and wait for an offer from ACL/CCC to return at much more favourable terms. And before you say they already did that please note that no offer has been made formally to anyone yet that is either legitimate or otherwise.

I don't think that any offer would be acceptable to them without the keys.

Build a new ground? You must be joking. How much would that cost? No; it is a non-starter.

:pointlaugh: they want to hurry up and get on with it then, like someone said a few days ago it took 8years to get the ricoh built with the full baking of the local council. as was uncovered they are not even talking to any local councils and still no news on a site just lots of badger shit apparently.

If we can all agree that SISU now in the guise of Otium are prepared to fund the loses for 3 years instead of trying desperately to get back in at the Ricoh where 10k plus a match would be far better for them then we can begin to see they mean to move on unless a sustainable offer is made attractive to them.
If it is purely to distress ACL into handing over the keys to the Ricoh then that strategy would be crazy! What would be stop any one else from obtaining the Ricoh at that point? Haskell and his band of merry men for example?
I think the Council had better think very carefully where they go from here because if they don't eventually get the football club back at the stadium they helped rescue for that specific purpose for the most part, then I fear a white elephant on the horizon.

I'm getting the feeling that most think that ACL need the football club more that the football club need ACL

Said this from the outset, CCC & ACL NEED the Sky Blues more than they need the Ricoh, it's not 'rocket science' is it ? PUSB!

Distressing ACL IS plan b ! I believe that when Ray R was involved the initial plan was to take us up , unfortunately ,for many reasons this failed and the consequence was no more need to involve a football brain so bye bye Ray. From then on it was the fall back plan of obtaining the Ricoh . Messy business , so no Ray no Joe no Gary ! Just our old mate Tim!

It is the exact opposite! Compass are making more money than when the club was there! This could only happen if there is more going on there. seems there are exhibitions being held pretty much every week

Say they are only 40 mil in debt not the 70 mil they claim.

Pre borrowing to build a stadium

If they have moved on with no designs on the Ricoh , why the JR ? Asked a few times but never answered. Why would Haskell buy a football pitch ? He hasn't got a football team .
