That's actually a good point SBK, one I had completely forgotten, however you would think that with Joy running to tell Nikki whatever she wants to hear and Ann Lucas not willing to talk, it's going to look slightly bad.

The blame is with both sides, however in that statement released by Nikki Sinclaire I am sure there was a part of it that said Joy excepts responsibility for past mistakes.

The problem I have with Joy saying she accepts responsibility for past mistakes is that they were not mentioned. A very open statement. That could be choice of people to run our club. The same ones that run us now. Or not negotiating the rent from the start. Or wasting money when they first took over.

I agree and one of their biggest mistakes is lack of transparency and the alienation of fans. They have acknowledged this in the past but failed to address it.

Joy "I only care about my family and investors" compounded this for me.

It's okay for Fisher to say she wants privacy and doesn't want publicity and we have to respect that...what about people in Coventry having the right to support Coventry City FC in Coventry....why doesn't Joy Seppala, SISU, Fisher, Otium, Football League respect that!

if ann did meet nikki it would serve as much use as nikki meeting joy, ie diddly squat. - If so why are people insisting on slating sides for not organising these meetings, it maybe deemed useless, but at the moment any meeting where these parties are talking and building bridges is a good step and should be encouraged.

i'm meeting my sister who now lives in warrington for lunch in a couple of days, like me she is a sky blue so we are bound to be talking about the whole situation. i'll let you know how that went if you like, seeing as you're are concerned about meetings regarding CCFC that cant possibly accomplish anything. - What you discuss with your sister is entirely up to you and should be kept between yourselves, more to the point I am not actually concerned what you discuss with your sister. It should be important for these parties (SISU and CCC) to get round a table and discuss a way forward without Nikki Sinclaire, but with someone who can mediate the situation, because at the moment it's playground stuff.

Robo, the only person that i am slating for meetings is Joy Diversion, she needs to reply to Ann Lucas's last request to meet and then meet. what is the need of building bridges with Nikki Sinclair, it serves no purpose. Nikki Sinclair has no influence on either Shitsu or ACL/CCC/Higgins.

your second point about why have these meetings at all is my point exactly, they serve no purpose, it resolves nothing what so ever in either getting coventry back playing at the ricoh, if you're pro shitsu it resolves nothing in helping shitsu either get the rent deal they are happy with or a purchase price they are happy with, whatever they might be and if your anti shitsu it resolves nothing in a way of getting rid of them. no one wins accept nikki sinclair in her quest for self publism.

like you said in your last comment the parties that need to get around the table are shitsu and acl/ccc/higgins without nikki sinclair. which brings me back to my original point, dont get side tracked with nikki sinclair meetings they serve no purpose other than a smoke screen for whoever meets her and a PR stunt, the very fact that joy diversion has met her and ann wont just proves what a bulshit machine shitsu's pr wagon is.

How can an elected member being the leader of the council be worried about engaging with political opposition? The most important thing is that the right questions are asked of the right people.

Not that I disagree with the Sentiment on the apology because I am not sure either, however Fisher also made the same sort of statement at the fans forums.

Bridges need to be built with ACL (CCC) and SISU, as they are the parties who need to be talking, I should have perhaps made this clearer.

Maybe it doesn't but at least someone is willing to talk to these people and communicate this back to the fans, after all we are just as blind.

But my point for these parties getting back behind the table is because we need someone who will be willing to mediate a discussion as I don't trust any form of discussion to be done well without a mediator.
