Massive PR mistake by ACL if they do remove it... hearts and minds....so suspect it will remain until this really is all over...actually thinking about this- perhaps that is the barometer we should all monitor in terms of moving on... if and god forbid it does come down I suspect that that really is it...? Operation Brentford becomes the reality

They raided our city and have taken our club away. So why not?

As previously stated by many sources our club have showed plans for the club to return to the Coventry Area, to the Football League.

So who or what was this then? The rest of us must have missed it.

Missed it because you were to busy bickering about the council most likely, but here we go taken from the CT on the 30th Aug:

Ms Sinclaire said: “The upshot of the meeting was that Sisu and Joy are determined to bring CCFC back to the area as soon as possible. She believes, at this point, the only way of doing that is by building a new stadium.

“She said she understood fans’ concerns and did not want Coventry City to be playing in Northampton. Joy confirmed plans had been put forward to the Football League for a new stadium.

Don't but it's apparently written in black and white.

And as you seem to know for sure can you point us in the right direction on where it is?

This is how rumors start. You say it is in black and white?

The FL said that there is no guarantee that we will be back. The outlines have been shown to them. No solid plans were shown. SISU have to pay 1m if we are not back. They would get out of this though......even if it means moving anything of worth out of a section of our club, putting the debts in it and then going into admin.

Or do I hear you say they wouldn't do anything like that?

See above and highlighted the main part.

'Joy confirmed plans had been put forward to the Football League for a new stadium'

Just because this plans aren't in the public domain doesn't mean there aren't any.

Unless I am much mistaken Greg Clarke (FL Chairman) has given statements that would appear to flatly contradict that. He stated that he (and thus by extension the FL) did not know when the new stadium would be built and, indeed, if it would be at all. That would be a slightly odd statement to make - and one which SISU would have been eager to refute - if in fact he / they had seen "plans"

To be honest I can't remember when Greg Clarke made his statement I will try and find out if it was before Nikki's meeting with Joy.

And Joy hasn't been said to be untruthful by judges in the past......and very recent past......either?

The £1M is a joke. When it goes tits up it's just another £1M onto the already considerable debt CCFC will have at that time.

Just because she has lied in the past doesn't mean she is going to lie in the future? There are no guarantees, however this source seems more credible then the hunch your going on.

What source is this you are going on about? From Joy herself?

Oh well, lets all believe Joy from now. This leopard has changed it's spots

Right Joy's meeting with Nikki Sinclaire was on the 30th August.

However this thread below which was based around the CWR Interview where Greg Clarke said City "no guarantee's that City would return to the Coventry area" was on the 16th, two weeks prior.

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threa...wr-after-7-this-morning?highlight=Greg+Clarke

Now he could mean by this we aren't returning to an area which is governed by Coventry Council, this has been speculated for weeks.. However before this CWR interview there was a CT article regarding Greg Clarke in which said Tim Fisher had provided information regarding the financing of the stadium to the Football League, but Greg Clarke didn't acknowledge this it was passed on to the Football League's financing experts.

It isn't concrete, but it's better than a guess based on a certain person's past behaviour.

Source of public information given to us by Nikki Sinclaire after her interview with Joy Seppala.

Mockery is impressive but not when you use it to back up an arguement your losing because you have no facts.

Mockery?

Joy fed Nikki loads of shit. Nikki even thought the rent was 1.5m a season. Also didn't know that nothing short of 1,5m a season was on offer. It isn't me that is trying to have an argument without facts. It is you that is saying a liar might not lie this time. It is you that is saying that even though Dyke says he hasn't seen plans for the stadium you would prefer to believe Joy when she says she has shown plans. It is you using phrases like 'not concrete' and 'he could mean' to make your point. It is others as well as myself using facts as they are.

And then you have to say I am losing an argument so I am using mockery to cover up the lack of facts. Try coming out with proper facts and not what Joy has said. What Joy says has been proved not to be a fact so far.
