So this is what he has become.

Suggest the jimmy hillers get the pointy hats out and get over to "Pete from Cheylesmore's" house and begin the lynching.

The evidence is there. The JHK have been called muppets. I know his defence may be that those entering the ground have been called spineless, scans, cowards, selfish and scum but the muppet phrase - well thank god it's after the watershed.

Some people should re-read the crap they have written on that thread and reflect.

There are wars, famine, barbaric animal rights issues but they pale into insignificance.

The Hillers have been called muppets. Let the burning begin.

Disgusted.

I, personally, do not advocate the lynching or burning of any Coventry City fan, whatever their views!

Ah Grendel, we have you as an example... Never spiteful, vindictive or personal.

crikey grendal i agree with you.

i have to say that this lynch mob attitude doesn't help me decide to go to the hill. it might not be anyone who stands on the hill, it might a minority of people who will be on the hill, but its a minority i don't want to be associated with. having said that see you all at the Sheffield game on the hill, not sure about non televised games though.

Is he your dad or uncle, and who said they would waist there energy lynching him, the way he is going he will be sectioned soon. People have a right to protest at what is going on their club in whatever form they deem fit. I think Sisu would prefer the 100 on the hill in the ground paying through the turnstiles rather than protesting at their ownership.

It's an opinion, nothing more, nothing less! I read an awful lot of opinions on this site that I personally don't agree with but would not and will not be rude, crude or abusive!

These are very difficult and testing times for ALL those associated with our Club (and not just supporters but also Staff who have families), does anybody really want us to be playing our home games in Northampton?

NO, NO ,NO, & NO (just in case you haven't got the message) but it won't stop me going because I've enjoyed it and been entertained.

However if we played in Timbucktwo (ha ha) I'd have to listen on the radio or Sky Blue Player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't be trying to find out where he lives and print in on a forum. The point is he and his fellow supporters have been called far worse than muppets and yet he is allowed no response back. What a joke, if anything makes me go to Sixfields it will be in response to crap like this.

Grendel- nobody should be encouraging a lynch mob attitude-I agree- equally Pete must know and realise that his mannerisms and delivery are inflammatory against the backdrop of the situation... I think he knows what he does, and he does it to inflate his clearly huge ego- anyone that starts with- "you've probably heard of me" isnt blessed with humility.
Does his delivery deserve a lynch mob reaction.. No of course not.
Does it deserve some form of reaction- probably inevitable I'd say.
Does he want a reaction- absolutely.

People on both sides have been guilty of name-calling. Can't defend either use of terms used at times.

Whats is worse IMO is comparing a democratic organisation (SBT) to one that abuses human rights, have been linked to mass murders and attempt to suppress rights for females (the Taliban).

SBT want to get a football team to play in the city it belongs in. Thats a far cry from the overthrow of western civilisation and the destruction of culture and modern history, which would no doubt include football.

So, would you consider his recent outburst as a fair and balanced response?

I hardly think he'd be "deserving everything he gets" (disturbing statement), because of any comment made about the trust and frankly to even claim that is the reason anyone is upset is just laughable -- he's upset a few people as he called them muppets. As it's raining on Sunday perhaps he can call them "fairweather muppets" next time.

Be careful here please you dont actually know that the author of the blog was indeed the same Pete who spoke this evening?
Many have called into CWR claiming to be others on here for example.

Face it, by the end of the night he will have written "Mein Kampf"

I think it is not relevant - I think he could have the political views of Attilla the Hun, make Bernard Manning look like a liberal thinker and Stalin a pacifist as long as he stood up and shouted Joy is an evil bitch and SISU out -- then he'd have had free drinks all night.

So to suggest anything he compares the Trust to is the cause for the vitriol is nonsense.

He doesn't toe the line and he has offended the sensitivities of some self styled freedom fighters. They should grow up and get over it.

Would you consider 'scab', 'selfish', 'spineless', 'traitor', 'deluded' and 'scum' fair and balanced accusations to throw at those who attend Sixfields?

My first point was :

People on both sides have been guilty of name-calling. Can't defend either use of terms used at times.

Deluded isn't real abusive. More of an opinion than a term of abuse. For the others, I think they are out of order. We all support the same team.

Grendel, I'd agree with every word you've said on this thread if not for the blinding, screaming hypocricy. You can be a nasty piece of work with those who disagree with you and yet you're the first to issue the victim t-shirts.

fact; this character made himself look a pure knob,
but we are all entitled to an opinion,
unfortunately he's had a dose of 'you know what'

I am with you on this one, Grendel can be a bit of a wind up but putting the fella's E-Mail up etc is a bit much. I am completely against SISU and will never step foot inside Sixfields but the way this Pete is being villified is pathetic. If he is the one arguing with Linnell about the bus on Sunday then he sounds like a complete weapon but he doesn't deserve the shite being said on here.

I think it is the fact that he is gloating about being there (not the Muppet thing), and watching some great football is getting people's backs up.
