Point is FA threaten withdrawal of funds, sisu change tune within a day!
Could of course be coincidental, but I do not believe in coincidences! There has been a marked change in tone from what little info has come from Fisher (Unless of course I was mistaken when CWR referred to fisher saying he was willing to talk when confronted by fans at sixfields). He did certainly come out with the now infamous 3 games and they will be back nonsense pre-season. There is no business that can survive with zero funds (no matter what histrionics TF comes out with).
NOPM may not bring about the ownership by the trust of the club, but that isn't what I or probably many want. I want the club back in cov with owners who aren't prepared to try the nuclear option when they don't get what they want. I also welcome fan ownership, but not trust ownership. There should be a share issue, then if the trust buy a significant portion of said shares fine, but they certainly shouldn't be given it for free! After all they have shown that they are even amongst themselves torn as to the direction, so how on earth can they be expected to have a clear direction going forward - especially when they have a track record of not necessarily taking into account members opinions (how many times has the administrator of this very website had e-mails ignored as just one example!)
I genuinely feel that the loss of credibility by sisu is beyond repair. Sitting round the table with them as fans is no longer a valid path - they will say one thing and do another (obvious exception uprooting the team!). Any notion of the fans having a constructive role with sisu in charge is just a fiction (have sisu ever taken the fans concerns into account).
Todays announcement simply shows just how divided the trust and its various offshoots are. The trust never really backed the NOPM campaign, but they did try and take credit for it when they thought there was milage in it for them. Which is why I am so critical of their intentions. It seems they are more concerned in their relationship with sisu rather than the welfare in the club. If not then why when their members voted overwhelmingly (their words not mine) to have nothing further to do with sisu, are they now abandoning that and trying to get on sisu's good side? This for me ultimately goes to the heart of their lack of credibility. Just look at the video of the "protest" of the FL. It had only about 2-3 people - that isn't going to get the FL shaking in their boots is it!
As it stands the trust would like NOPM to quietly go away. Thing is NOPM is the only thing the fans have to protest that could possibly have an effect! What else is left? Just lie down and take whatever sisu dish up or fight till the game is won? There is only one way forward NOPM - be it by any other name!
Sisu will not listen to fans, they want you to attack ACL ort the council - anyone but sisu! If you want sisu to stay in charge fine, but if like me you want them gone NOPM (not going to games etc). The trust could use the fighting fund to start a legal challenge to the admin process, but they seem reluctant to use the fighting fund to fight - WHY?
