CVA is done and dusted. Refused so Ltd will be liquidated. Just waiting for Appleton to give his final report this week.

I think ACL wanted a further discussion on the CVA before Appleton processed it and the 10 points were deducted.
Why it didn't go back for further discussion and maybe inclusion of 150K offer is another thing I don't understand.

YEP, unless in the administrators report they find some sort of underhandedness by SISU in say transfer of players etc etc that upsets FL.
Luckily SISU have FL in their pocket.

Think the FL have strongly stated that the 10 point deduction had to be accepted to transfer the share to Otium.
They are not interested in Ltd any more as they are no longer a member of the league.
So unless Appleton comes out with something solidly illegal I shouldn't think they care less.

Why would they do that, considering this agreement ensures they dont pay much back rent and it breaks the ridicolously biased lease to rent the stadium.

Actually I believe it was some sort of pay-back. Didn't Ms Seppala say she was happy to meet and discuss a new deal at the Ricoh WHEN ACL had signed the CVA?

Wanted? I bet CCFC didn't "want" the massive rent when they first moved into the Ricoh. I imagine they had little choice in the matter. And as previously stated four months later they tried to get the rent reduced without success.

Yes, wanted. ACL offered them a sliding scale but they turned it down in preference of a fixed scale.
CCFC at the time were planning to get into the PL and possible thought they had got a bargain!!!

Odd attitude really. Considering this was years before SISU even arrived you're still siding with ACL rather than the Club. I would have thought you'd have wanted the best deal for your football team not the local council.

Did SISU attempt to show ACL the reality of the situation (the books) and if so did ACL say tough luck ?
Really we are just guessing because both parties are not releasing data that would condemn them.

Indeed. It's almost as if they are glad ACL got one over the club and that our former owners were every bit as idiotic as the current ones. It genuinely seems to give them pleasure.

Post SISU I can understand as the way they stopped paying the rent was out of order. However, the attitude over the original rent agreement is really strange.

Some people really do care more about the council than the club. IF Sisu could get the Ricoh for free by being hard nosed and the CLUB made shit loads of money from it, I am not really too fussed to be honest. It would be good business.
Yes they might want to develop the land, but it is exactly what Haskell wants but the only difference is he goes in the casino and wears a sky blue cowboy hat and buys the trust people drinks.

There are so many contradictions and skewed attitudes. "SISU will charge a massive rent", "SISU are only interested in the Arena" they say totalling ignoring that ACL charge a massive rent and PH4 is a bloody property developer, not a dyed-in-the-wool soccer guy.

I don't get this idea the club were' happy' with the deal. As said above, it wasn't the best deal, it was the only deal. MM was very quick to state in media that the terms imposed on the club were not great - it is why he kept repeating that we needed 'crowds of 23,000 to break even', in other words "we're fucked". The previous season, at HR, we had very nearly broke even on gates of 16K. In our 1st year at the Ricoh we lost £3 million (on gates of 22K). MM knew it was coming, the 'deal' wreaked of unfairness.

Just pointing out that for whatever reason the rent was agreed by both parties.
I see no evidence of trying to reduce it other than "SISU are the biggest customers so we deserve the Ricoh"
I'm not saying that is not a good move for CCFC if that happened, but I am not happy in the way it is being done and the CCFC collateral damage it is causing during the battle to "take it".
SISU are at fault here not ACL as I believe if a fair price had been offered they would have taken it.
The SISU hostile take over bid is now a sticking point for ACL.
...and moving back to the topic the 'underlining reason' for this points deduction is SISU and CCFC management over the past 2 decades.
ACL are being blamed by some CCFC fans because in reality they are not giving in for what would be the benefit of CCFC.
