We all know what they are interested in. Making money. Full stop. They don't care about our football club. They don't care about us fans. They will do whatever makes them the most money. It seems that they had dreams of the tens of millions they would have made if they got us into the Prem. It wasn't as easy as they thought though. Once Ranson left we were left without anyone that knew about football running our club. They have been chasing their losses ever since.....and not been doing a good job of it.

Except for the obvious..

Ranson knew about Football did he? Feck me!

OK, "community asset" blah-blah-blah, "corporate responsibility", blah-blah-blah. The important thing for CCFC is to play in Coventry, right? There is a stadium standing there empty, right? I think they say that nature abhors a vacuum, don't they? SISU won't be here for ever and the club will be a much more attractive proposition for any future buyer if we own our own stadium.

And a response like yours frustrates me. No thought for the club just ACL, CCC and council tax payers. When did CCFC fans suddenly start to care more about their local politicians than their team?

You want them to rot? Well, if they do then they will take Coventry City with them. How are all those who are determined for SISU not to get their "grubby mits" on the Ricoh going to feel if we go tits up. Smug because at least they didn't get to play in the stadium again.

I don't really give a fuck about your track records, best interests, politicians, accounts, investments and corporate reponsibilities. I care about Coventry City and I want to see them playing back in Coventry.

And the rest of don't care about CCFC - pathetic view that you care but the rest don't - many of us think that your way of capitulating to SISU will really be the death of our cluB and some people should grow some balls and stop caving in to SISU for some short term game - it is the long term future of a CCFC team playing in the City of Coventry that I care about. (Despite in anger earlier saying that I would rather start again than sell to SISU - of course I don't want us to start again - I just don't want SISU to own the stadium because I believe that is the death of CCFC on a plate)!!

Good for you. I hope there's not many with your point of view.

I would rather we folded and started again than sell to Shitsu. Have principles some (rearrange WORDS accordingly)!!

If you want Coventry playing in Coventry but you don't want our current owners (who we seem to be stuck with for a while) then how do you propose we get back to Cov. As a) you don't want to play in Northampton (I presume), b) you don'[t want the club to buy into the Ricoh and c) I also presume you don't want a new stadium that is not in the city boundaries. I'm struggling to think what any other realistic option is.

I'll speak for myself, I want to force our current owners to bring the club back to the Ricoh under a fair rental agreement (which sees them get much more revenue than playing at Sixfields) and then either work towards a situation where they can be trusted to take full or part ownership of the Ricoh - or look to sell the club for a realistic amount to a new owner who can give it fresh impetus and investment.
