The purpose of my post was to highlight attitudes that have drifted from the main thing we love most unconditionally - our football club.
Those that can't see that are fair weather supporters who selfishly only care when times are good. You can hate your owners all you like but when you turn on them at the expense of the very existence of your football club for the belief of what a perfect world you expect it to be then you have lost the plot.
As the few replies have indicated already most agree they put the football club first, as it should be. Now take that and point your anger at the present situation at all sides in this sorry mess. But support your team while doing so...because you love them right?
None of us want to be in this situation, however sisu are pursuing a course of action that is damaging to the football club and of only benefit to sisu.
The argument has now passed on from the rent row, the club is now a Northampton based sports club, that is looking at relocating to the Coventry area. It seems a far cry from the organisation that was once intertwined in this city's identity.
I have loyalty to the football club, but I also have loyalty to my city. As a proud Coventrian I cannot support the idea of my club playing outside my city's boundaries just because some egotistical yank fin doesn't like the council leadership.
