Its easy enough for SISU to show the FL the funds, after all its only a bank account from which you can move money in or out at will. What kills businesses is cash flow and you have to agree that SISU are being starved of this, so NOPM is working. How big a loss do SISU want to rack up before they either put the club into Administration again is something I have no idea about. This whole soap opera is all about making money and nothing to do about the club, the community and especially not the fans.
NOPM will work even more effectively if Everyone stayed away from Northampton - no revenue for SISU, no improvement in the local economy - and you save a lot of money by not travelling there.
The FL have learnt from the Wimbledon case (I hope) so it is more likely the club will be liquidated before they will be allowed to set up elsewhere.
Sorry for the doom and gloom, but thats how I see it.

i think sisu because they have never been involved in a football club before, thought their normal tactics of hard ball would see them get what they wanted. The problem they are now experiencing and causing them distress is, us the fans, football fans are different , this club is a big part of our life's it means something. Being the sort of people they are, they cannot grasp this, i think they thought we would just crawl away and die.

We don't know if it's working if we're being honest. I personally believe that, whether SISU can fund our losses or not, they aren't going to want to for 5 years. Hopefully it can force someone's hand

This interview has to be assessed against a six year tenure.
Why shouldn't people read between the lines.? If they are wrong she has to deal with it and show she can 'shepherd' us out of it.

if it was one interview of many i think most would agree, however it is the 1 and only interview (someone feel free to correct me if she actualy done another interview regarding CCFC, or any of her other businesses for that mater) so it is only reasonable to ask why now?
1 logical answer could be that she is on the ropes, if you have any other logical reasons please feel free to share them.
you could be right, the ball may well be still in shitsu's court. it doesn't mean they have anything to hit it with.

Sisu re-evaluate at the end of the season and wind the whole operation up - very likely.

The club isn't worthless without a ground, there will be people willing to pay a couple of mill for it almost certainly. There is no way SISU liquidate as they won't make any money from doing so. Northern Wisdom wrote earlier (sorry can't remember what thread it was in) that the club could make some back by liquidating as they have players to sell etc but I don't agree with this because any players they are unable to sell would have their contracts fully paid out by any money made selling the other players, there is also the liquidator to pay, it seems to me that you could easily get 2mill selling the club and you would have absolutely nothing left after liquidating.

You have to also remember the value to SISU in a wider context about not backing down.
And the precedents they've set in the past of not backing down.
Potentially far more valuable than a small increase on value selling rather than liquidating.

Serious question, given the shit about Sisu that's been in the public eye and the general support City fans seem to have in most quarters, could you see the FL handing the GS to a fans consortium and maybe dropping us a league or two as "punishment" rather than liquidating the share?
After all, as they proved there doesn't have to be a direct correlation between the club owning the share and who the FL hand it to, it might work in our favour this time.
Is it possible to liquidate the share? Surely it would simply revert to the FL in the event of club liquidation???/

And to an extent, we should have been bust long before now. What other business would have £millions of debts and few assets bar 'goodwill'? Part of the reason we had traditionally late accounts were, we were told, difficulties in getting our owners to commit to funding us for the year ahead, and there's little to dispute that really is there? What is there that says we're a going concern beyond that?!?
I'd have also thought they only let us get away with liquidating (or intending to) Ltd. and staying in the league, because they stuffed up too. See the whole club wiped off the map, and it'd be far harder to justify a 'new' club appearing in its place.
If we were wiped off the map, it'd be mightily unfair on other clubs if we were allowed to start higher than, say, Aldershot or Maidstone were too. harsh, but imagine the outcry if it was another club than us.

Well they should be sympathetic in the future as well then.
If the club ceased to exist then surely the football league would have no say on the matter? We'd drop out of the league at that point. I am sure a properly backed reincarnation of CCFC would apply to rejoin at Conference level, or perhaps more realistically Conference North, and I've no doubt we'd be allowed to.
