Didn't the FL say the club ceased to exist in August, when they they transferred the Golden Share?

But, if you are asking would liquidating the club be preferable to several years with the current board then, yes, I would take a quick death. At least we could get on with the rebuilding process, and maybe all being in it together may help heal the fan-base divide!

Idiotic beyond belief

It would be interesting to see how the vote would be with the broader fan base. It's only a sample, isn't it. Those who post on here or who go on the Telegraph site.

Well I'm taking ACL at their word, "We love the club", so I'm hoping they'll pick up the phone if SISU don't do it first. We need to get back to the Ricoh. Nothing else matters.

And maybe ACL are taking Sisu at their word when they say they have "moved on" and JS says "we buy or don't return"? After all, as Mr Fisher said, they don't bluster, don't posture etc...
We could keep on making excuses for both sides all night. The point I was making was either side could make the first move, but neither side has.

40% of the small number of fans who go on websites and forums I think you mean.

The headline will be "Almost 40% of fans agree with me!"

Grendel, how do you envisage the medium term panning out with the current custodians of our club? And, how do you think the board should begin to rebuild a relationship with those supporters who have been alienated?

Well, according to Les Reid in the CET :

"it appears a good number of fans – many of them city council taxpayers - want the Sky Blues to return to the Ricoh Arena as soon as possible. So too might city taxpayers at large."

Where did he get that opinion from - fans on websites and forums, CET readers or did he just make that up? I wonder why this "good number of fans" did not, apparently, take part in the poll.

Along with the rest of the stuff this week, it stinks of PR from SISU but like most everything they do, it has been an epic fail.

Then everyone would say greedy bastards they are currently reported to be paying £300.000 which is more then ACL offered the administrator.

Then again it wasn't offered to Tim and he took exception to this.

To be fair who the fuck does he think he is make him crawl I say.

Egotistic and a bully IMO
I'm actually in agreement with you on that. Acl should say to them we will match the terms currently in place with Ntfc.

It would be very embarrassing for sisu to refuse that.

My opinion....

Without Ricoh - stay at Northampton until viable alternative found. Drop down the leagues the next few years and stabilise in the conference. Worst case we go out of existence.

With Ricoh - stabilise at lower end of Championship with forays into league 1 every couple of years. Be sold to someone else after maybe 4 or 5 years, hopefully sooner then its anyone's guess.

i was out & about tonight, & saw, recognised, & spoke with, a Sky Blue fan of, i guess, 50+, i said to him that i'd be going to W'hampton tomorrow, knowing that he used to go to & support CCFC, home & away,
i asked whether he was going,
his reply was a succession of sad indictments of exactly how he felt,
he said,
'i've lost the love of the club, it's been ripped from me by the owners, whoever they are,
there must be thousands like me, i can't bring myself to go to any games',
there then followed a succession of expletives,
blame maybe apportioned to several parties,
but, the overall belief, of CCFC fans is why have we been treated this way,
good luck to BA with his 'early day motions'
it surely needs other MP's to pressure the likes of the FL or FA to create a level playing field,
& before the usual suspects get on their high horse,
IT IS WE, THE FANS, WHO HAVE BEEN TREATED SO VERY, VERY, VERY, BADLY

Fuck Sisu and all there associated companies.

No one is saying they should get it for free. A fair price, that is all. But hey, ACL aren't known for offering fair prices are they.

Fuck ACL and all their associated companies.

Exactly but there are those on here who can't see that think all will be back to normal if sisu get the ricoh, can't see it to much damage already done. Will haunt os for a long time.
Time will tell hope I am wrong

Again, no one has actually said that. Clearly the relationship with Sisu is broken beyond repair, but lets at least prioritise having a club in our city.

Typical reply I expected so what is a realistic price the 9 million Sisu want to pay.
Yet there willing to spend 25 million on a 10,000 stadium with nothing else around it. Sorry you feel that way but ACL have got the bollox fair play to them.

You need to read the threads on here properly in my opinion 9 million is giving them it for free will just increase the debt on CCFC and then we have to rent i back scandalous.

I'm not an expert in commercial property prices. Clearly you are so please tell me what a fair price is.

You are just making things up to support your view. I don't mind you having an opposing view but please don't try to put words in my or others mouths.

Didn't we rent it before? I think a lot of clubs have the stadium in sister companies

Didn't sisu.want to get it valued by acl.and their own valuers?

4 out of 10 is a good number. Far better than the 9/10 (9k out of the 10k average from last season) that most on here would have you believe are so anti SISU that they'd rather remain in Northampton than the club to return to the Ricoh

Yes, and we wouldn't rent it if Sisu bought it. That would provide them no benefit whatsoever. People just pull that out because they don't like or trust Sisu, and I feel the same, but there is absolutely no basis in fact to support this.

It's a bit late after they've built a shitty 12k tin pot stadium outside Coventry isn't it? You'll have already won by then and we'll be permanently outside Coventry and your beloved ACL will be free to build some houses where the stadium used to be.

Yes we would rent it Fisher said it at thee forums ccfc would not own it just use it. then again you have to read between the lines when it comes from them and yes we Hate them more then the vile.
