Sadly these sixfield skyblues are a victim of the SISU jedi mind trick. They are a weak minded lost soul .

Be gentle with them. Please don't upset them, its not there fault.

The rest of us avoiding the sixfield death star will remain alert and strong. We shall not fall into the dark side my true sky blue padwans!!

May the "Jimmy Hill Force" be with you!!

Those who went from the start, fair enough; I don't agree with you but you felt it was more important to watch the team. Those who've started creeping back now we're winning I think are dirt who have given up what they alledged to believe in

This is the end for fishers lunacy, only 2,150 city fans at sixfields on a saturday, end of the month payday, school half term, the team on a winning run and the weather not to bad. This is about the best gate they will get untill a team bring a big away following.

"dirt" and "scabs". There should be a lot of people ashamed of themselves on this site.

Northampton? Not even tempted, never have been, never will be.

We are Coventry. If people want to turn away from football in Coventry and follow their own team outside of Cov 35 miles away thats up to them.

Im having no part of it. It just goes against everything i believe in.

All this because Joy, wants the Ricoh on the cheap? Fuck that.

Or as they say on dragons den "im out".

I wont set foot in the place but have got friends who go past us as they go in all good natured. Most of the scab callers are Wums why I dont know there have only been two occassions that the term scab has been used on the hill. One was because of that stupid woman at the first game and the pissed up blokes a few games ago,by the way they haven't been back since.

Aah Paddy :)

Anyone thought, maybe the team don't need us.
Which is why they playing attractive & winning football now!
It's all Cov fans fault!
If Sisu sell Wilson, Christie & co....only us fans to blame!
If they return back to Ricoh, will it be long ball, defeats again?
Well done Northampton Town, for bring the best out of CCFC, cos us fans couldn't manage it!
Ironic :(

They are scabs imo and its not for anyone here to say in wrong. They can criticise the term and disagree but that's only an opinion too. c**t as a response lol what a guy!

The scab term is apt. By going a d accepting they prevent the necessity to come bome. The fl would have had to take notice if nobody went currently they don't care about us. Breaking ranks and going to Northampton is selfish actions by scum scabs dirt and whatever else I choose to call them just as that tool is entitled to call me a c**t for pointing it out. No moral fibre no backbone just selfish scabs.

Breaking what ranks? There's never been a united front, something that's amplified by how quickly people turn around and scream SCUM.

I went today, enjoyed it apart from the cold. Was good to see football again!
We've witnessed this week events that strongly suggest NOPM is working. Sisu have gone from "We've moved on" to "Let's talk" possibly indicating that the paltry revenues they are receiving due to the 80%+ boycott has dragged them reluctantly to the negotiating table.

To yield now, despite how well the team are playing, is utter suicide. The word Scab has been bandied about a fair bit during this conflict. To my mind the attendees who payed in yesterday contributing to the increase are even worse. During the Miners strike, those that breached the picket line were subjected to this abuse, but they were at least doing so to preserve their livelihoods, something more important than watching a game of football.

If you can't demonstrate the resolve to stay away in protest simply becase the team are doing rather well at the moment, then you truly are as blindly gullible as Seppala, Fisher et al think you are.

God help us...

So presumably all the kids who were there yesterday are also scum, scabs, dirt and whatever else you choose to call them? The players too? After all, they have a choice don't they? They could easily refuse to play at Sixfields and have solidarity with the stayaway fans? People are quite happy to bring up the mining analogy and many of those went on strike for what they believed in, didn't they? So the players must also be scum, scabs, dirt or whatever else you choose to call them. I wonder how you'd feel if someone labelled your child with those terms?

Still, as a Thatcher fan I doubt very much you'd care.

It's OK, they're the type of people who tried to bully people to go against their principles in the past, and decided they were weak for not going.

You can try and wriggle out of it but the fact is those that have gone to sixfields have done their part in justifying sisu's move.

You're all a fucking disgrace.

So on that logic we don't want to be playing in the Premier League in front of 32,000 we would sooner play in front of 2000 at Northampton in League 1.

Mmmmm

More like if we are winning the crowd turn up. Unfortunately managers SISU have given us are big boot specialists.
We even had a scout who has never managed at one time:facepalm:
Play rubbish football and lose and many fans will turn on the team. It even happens with the top 4.
We appear to have a good manager with Pressley who has got us playing football. Only time will tell.

Come back to the Ricoh, play this football, the crowds will come and we can get back where we belong.
Delay and I think even Pressley will move on like Robbins did.

You keep saying that, with no justification- obviously someone (probably one) got under your skin re Marlon King... are they really the same people??

On this, the guy seems to be making a freedom of speech argument.

There's a pack mentality, the same as there always is. It;s always a rather loud minority too who feel the need to thcweam and thcwean until they're thick... I have a suspicion they're deeply ashamed about being the same ones who bullied people to handing over their shares to SISU in the first place, and they're overcompensating...

Frankly if anything'll put people off following the club, it's the moronic acts of fellow fans who think it's big and clever to call out pathetic, idiotic names to others.

It makes me truly ashamed that anybody can even engage in a witch hunt against people of their own. Let's stick a Hitler analogy in here in fact, nor are we Stalinist Russia.

Freedom of speech doesn;t include the freedom to abuse others.

And what the constant circles of abuse do is make the ones who may have a bit of insight (not me, but I shall name no names ;) ) retreat as they don't want to be involved in such petty vindictiveness, so then that insight gets lost, so then it's a bunch of knuckle draggers shouting at each other. You preach about GMK going downhill, well this is as bad as anything there at its worst in the past... so how about stamp it out now also?

And all the time they shout at each other they divide and rule.

Another logical decision is of all the possibilities for SISU Plants, it's the ones who insist on screaming SCAB at all times, because it's a classic divide and rule technique.

I don't like bullies in any shape or form, be they opaque financial institutions, or people who pretend to support my club, your club, our club but clearly don't, they're so wrapped up in their repressed anger.

Football forums always have a range of emotions and most always have some form of aggression from time to time, about players, managers, whatever. and aggression/pack mentality isnt just name calling or swearing by the way- smug (so called intellectual) arrogance to belittle is aimed to demean and be hurtful- that's what cyber bullying is about.
Most times it will reel itself in, once the beer has digested, maybe more moderation can be used at times, but in part it is the nature of the beast; if it bothers you that much dont get involved.

What you have to accept is moving to Northants is the most significant negative thing ever to have happened to this club. It will stir emotions greatly. and some of that has to be allowed space to vent. Sure no threats of violence, or highly personal abuse.

It is difficult to stop the repetitive nature of arguments (which is probably the main problem) in part because we are no in control of events. Maybe Nick can do some sub-forums/folders on different topics dunno; maybe Nick can occasionally make an announcement to ask people to reel it in and steady it down.

and btw this place is far better than GMK which is why so many have left to join it and why GMK is obsessed with it :0)

Chill out. A couple of thousand people going to Sixfields isn't going to keep the club afloat. SISU will be gone soon enough

people who go to sixfields are obviously supporters so I cant see any reasons for any abuse directed towards them.
We all make our own choices. I would not go because I may support the team but in my view it would damage the club.
If the place was full for every game then the proposed talks would probably not take place.

Some interesting points there.

I'd just add the possibility of normative influences (i.e. the willingness to conform publicly to attain social reward and avoid social punishment) in publicly endorsing the group response, as with Asch's conformity experiments.

And with that, I'm off down the pub.
