Yes as far as the table is concerned but we all know there are two types of hammering..

One where you lose 5-1 because you have well and truly took a pasting in every which way possible.

Then you have a 5-1 where everything goes right for them and not for you. They take their chances you don't.

The first can be a lot more demoralising and a lot more worrying as a fan than the second.

Stats can be deceiving, your possession stats can look good but means nothing it the majority of it is in your own half, and you could have 20 pot shots from 35 yards with some that bobble harmlessly into the keepers hands, and some that deflect of the defender out for a corner. The only stat that counts is the goal tally.
