Not sure the Trust should be promoting this sort of blatant anti ACL protesting , reminding everyone whos fault it was we lost 10 points.

Who's administrator was it?

10 minutes into the game ?? Sounds all a bit pointless to me. I would have thought the very presence of 6250 City fans is showing enough support and appreciation. People should be behind the team all match vocally not just on the 10th minute. I know things are desperate but it will sound like a tribute to someone deceased.

You should remain impartial, all this 10 minute anti ACL stuff could backfire

Could we not clap between 3 and 5 minutes to signify the number of years before we return to Warwickshire.
Perhaps 10% of the fans could start clapping at 2 minutes in line with SISU propaganda.

We should clap at 60 minutes in recognition of all the funds SISU have put into the club.

at what point would we have to start to pretend to clap? you know when we get to the actual amount invested, not the pretend amount that gets banded about by sh1tsu.

Are you not keeping up? You will need to clap at ;

3rd minute - how long we have been away
10th Minute - points deduction
35th Minute - distance from Cov to Northampton

WHAT BIT OF THIS EXCELLENT PLAN DONT YOU UNDERSTAND MATE?

Probably because he like me and many others know the trust is a publicity seeking bunch of nobody's.

No they are not you idiot. They are flawed but ultimately trying do do nothing but good in getting the club back to the Ricoh. Seeking publicity is quite a good thing if you want to , you know, publicise something. I have been critical of some of the actions they take but to insult the trust like that is really neanderthal. God help us if there were halfwits like you in charge.

er okay then. I was actually making a point about the validity of the Sky Blue Trust. Not sure I mentioned SISU..perhaps it was hidden in the subtext or in my tone. Why dont you support the Trust then? I would genuinely like to know.

Because they are a self appointed bunch of people who took it upon themselves to claim they represent CCFC fans.
They claim to want a seat on the Board of CCFC and a say in the running of the Club. What are they? a group of some
1500 + fans with very little money and dreams of grandeur. They do not and never will represent me and a great many other long established fans.

Bit harsh. I certainly preferred them as rabble-rousing trouble makers to the neutral and kinda pointless entity that they've become, though.

Hmm, rabble rousing isn't really a Trust's place though. You don't win a war with everybody fighting, you do need some people talking too.

That said, don't see why there can't be an assertion that hang on, we're Coventry fans. Hi, remember us. Proactive, not reactive. Neutral doesn't have to mean the end of visibility.

Has to be done properly though, and am kind of glad to see they're moving away from the shouty towards the more considered.

Now if they just gave the apostrophes away for free in their emails... ;)

It was done at one of the first meeting as a board was needed to start up again and the membership at that time was pretty small I voted no favoritism as I didn't know any of them at the time..

And anyway I am sure that they would step down and let other take over should they wish, but to be honest haven't seen any takers and with the shit they get who would want it. As they say can't please everyone we all have our own thoughts on what should be done.

And pray who would be sufficiently humble to represent you then Fred? They obviously would have a lot to live up to with an intellect like yours to win over.

Not one mention of any opposition to moving out of Coventry in trust statement, pathetic.
What a set of weak willed individuals they seem utterly afraid to upset anyone.

And your contribution is....?

Seriously, what do you want them to do? They are representative of our fanbase, who ALSO aren't sure what to do exactly.

Talks are on, JR is out, we wait. Unless you've got a better idea. And if you do I'd imagine the Trust board, as they have been (to a fault IMO), will take it seriously.

Problem is shhmmee that the Board hasn't consulted its members for months. Half a dozen of us submitted proposals to the last open meeting and wanted a vote but were told there couldn't be a vote because it was only an informal meeting. One of the proposals, big screen v Bradford, was done but on the other 3 more important issues there hasn't been a word. Basics seem to have broken down like no minutes of meetings and the trust email address doesn't seem to work. There have always been those who knock the trust but when someone like nonleagueherewecome calls the trust 'pointless' there really is a problem.

I'm glad you recognise the validity of point I made about the trust losing direction and you've added weight to it by confirming they've effectively stopped being a truly democratic organisation.
Sadly, I don't think there is anyone there with the necessary drive & leadership qualities to make it effective.
