Don't get me wrong if somebody really wants to go they will go, there was a pub I always used to park in which was free but they have now changed the rules I think

The local streets you couldn't park on else you would get a ticket, sometimes you might get away with it but there were always plenty of police on bikes giving tickets.

The restriction zone always seemed a bit of a scare tactic, I'd imagine they didn't give a shit most the time and just did a token patrol every few games to keep up appearances.

I got a ticket once for parking on the grass by the bull and anchor. It was a police / council one rather than one of these 2 bit agencies so the real deal.

Never heard of anyone having a ticket, and I do not understand the whole moaning concept around parking , yes parking is an issue, but leave a little earlier, park at a pub/club and walk, or get the local bus/ ricoh buses, and actually save money and have a couple of pints beforehand somewhere.

Honestly parking should not be a reason for not attending, look at some the hovels across the country .. still get there though don't we.

There is always an alternative.

One of the things I hate about the Ricoh is having to pay £80 a season to park my car (Cov Welsh Rugby Club) and then still have a 10/15 minute walk to the ground. At sixfields it's free and it takes 1 minute to walk to the ground.
I've been to about half of our away games in the last 2 seasons and have never struggled to find parking near the ground but I've always wondered where the away fans used to park for the Ricoh cos I wouldn't know where to tell them to park.

It isn't free, it is being advertised as costing £2 or £4 to park at Shitfields.. on CCFC official twitter channel.

Having not joined the Euro we are stuck with GBP.

I attended the home game against Notts County. Although it was a good result a few things ruined the experience:

It was absolutely freezing, a bitter wind came in to the stands as I was sat behind the North stand. I think it must be one of the coldest grounds I have been to.
No alcohol is served in the ground after 2:45, not even sure of the reason behind this it's like they don't want people attending. Also no designated smoking areas (there was one at the Ricoh).
A dire atmosphere even after been 3-0 up.

On the other hand, the food places outside the ground are great with plenty of choice from restaurants and a pub (x1) to fast food. I also liked that there was not much traffic around the ground and short queues for the toilets/food.

Don't think I will be attending again unless of a very exceptional circumstance e.g. Must win play off game
