I'm absolutely gutted at what's happened over the last 3 games...I've felt the pain of defeat as much as I ever have over the last few days but it does annoy me that those that choose to go to Shitfields accuse those that don't... and believe that the more that go is at the detriment of a return home...of wanting us to lose. Smacks of paranoia and probably guilt too.

Was it any more ofensive than other people's remarks to the likes of me, Torch etc. on here? That I doubt very much. There are far more offensive posts made than that.

The moderator in question by his own admission does not attend matches, does not ever comment on football matters, claims to have a degree in Media Law, claims to have supported the club for over 40 years yet seems to struggle to name any players or matches with any conviction and strangley seems to post mostly to attempt to justify the coucil and ACL's stance in the current dispute.

I hardly consider him fit for purpose as a moderator. Just my opinion. No doubt this will also be edited.

No, it was because of the words used and the amount of times it was reported.

I agree completely why can't he post what he wants? I found it informative. Better than a lot of the self indulgent bollocks I read on here. The in-fighting is sending some over the edge and it's getting worse. Sorry times :-(

I don't think it's that, but I do think that bigger clubs that are more used to decent crowds find it harder to "switch on" there than smaller clubs like Tranmere and Rotherham. Then there's the obvious football reasons-Clarke out today, Thomas on Saturday, no quality replacements to come in, the youngsters getting tired; the fact that it was a Pressley miracle that we were doing as amazingly well as we were up until now. The latter reason means I think we'll be OK ultimately.

He wants City back in Coventry like the rest of us.
The stats he put up tell us all we need to know about this insane tactic of playing in Northampton.
Someone said it was the lowest point for CCFC in 50 years. In truth this is the lowest point in our entire history by a country mile.
Sisu have done this to us.
And that's counting our year in the 4th Division, at least in that season we played in Coventry.
CCFC fans, just don't go to Sixfields.

There is no need to send a PM there is an alert button at the bottom of each post (the exclamation mark in the triangle) and if you or anyone else feel that a post breaches the site rules please let the moderators know this way. A PM only reaches those who you send it to and could go unnoticed for a while whereas a reported post is sent to all the moderators and has a far greater chance of being seen faster and acted on.

I do not have a degree in media law and have never claimed to do so, I took a media law module on my degree. I have never claimed to support the club for over forty years and that would be difficult as I'm only just approaching forty myself.

agreed, but when it comes to the share of the blame 95% belongs with sh1tsu. at the end of the day if they had of put the same amount of effort into keeping the club in its home city as they did in taking it away we would still be playing at the Ricoh. that is 100% sh1tsu's fault and they did it for their own needs, not the need of the club and the stats posted by the OP only confirms that it is commercial suicide staying at sixfields but they do it regardless.

People are right to complain about the crowds when the club lose. The SISU apologists and those too blinkered with piousness to understand the bigger picture will say it's due to fans 'wanting' the club to lose, which is frankly ridiculous; it's FFP frustration.

If we fail to get promoted, these lamentably poor crowds will leave us hamstrung for many seasons by virtue of the FFP percentage of turnover calculation.

Our crowds are the lowest in the league, therefore our wage cap will be the lowest in the league, and I'm afraid therefore to say that we are statistically most likely to be relagated yet again:

If we got promoted this year and got to the championship, FFP rules work differently, as the cap is based on losses, not turnover. Therefore,we could 'work around' this year's terrible turnover by mitigating losses.

We want Coventry City FC playing in Coventry. The lower the attendances go the better, it will speed up a resolution to this sorry mess created by Sisu.
If there were full houses at Sixfields every game Sisu would be all over it, making capital of it. Possibly (my opinion) thinking up new ways of exploiting it.
Us 90%+ fans who stay away see these pathetic attendances and only naturally use it as part of the argument.
Sisu would do exactly the same. They are absolutely ruthless people with no interest in football. Money is everything to them.

Have SISU confirmed how next season will be funded? Are we assuming they will be give funds to the club next season as equity. We will not survive in this league otherwise ?
Or will they blame the non attendance, drop funding and continue to spiral the club downwards. Why is TF quiet on this? Can he be bothered to talk to fans about it?
Do the few that attend not ask him this when they see him or are they afraid to upset him? Perhaps they are happy with the situation as it is !!

Nothing looks good at the moment, the good form has vanished and to me it's what has been keeping me soldiering on.

With every twist and turn known to man; turnover will be lower than £2m. So, the wage cap could sit at £1.2m even at this lofty assumption. Across 20 professionals, that's £60K per man, maximum.

As stated, in the Championship, things are different, as the wage cap can be pegged to losses.

The gates' turnover being made worse, of course - if that's at all possible - by the fact that other sponsors, such as City Link (who paid the biggest ever shirt sponsorship deal when it signed the 3-year agreement in 2010), or the Coventry Building Society pulled the can on continued association with the club; the latter party clearly stating 'due to the situation at the club, we are unable to proceed with a new contract at this time' - no longer financially support the club either. So, no sponsorship turnover to fall back on either.

Still, I guess that's because City Link and the Coventry Building Society just 'love' watching the football team lose too....
