All the people that are "Done with this club" e.t.c

Any chance you could hurry up and leave the forums quietly? Oh and shut the door on the way out cos your letting in a draught.

As for the rest.... Can we start talking about football again??

How the hell can you talk football when your club is spiralling in a death role?
Blindly following SISU is all you have.

So what happens if it does say that the Council acted wrongly? Will they have to take the money back or something?

Les Reid@Lesreidpolitics8mA full judicial review will see evidence made public on Coventry council's £14m loan to stadium it part owns.If JR won £14m may be paid back

My immediate thoughts are bollax - scuppers any chance of an early return to the Ricoh, this could drag on for years whilst we hang about in the third and possibly 4th division getting tonked at home by the mighty Rotherham and Tranmere. CCC won't cave in political suicide, SISU are back where they do their best business in the courts. 1,500 home fans watch us play in Northampton its so sad.

But they will not start the new stadium until this is sorted. They have the excuse they are looking for not to actually do anything. .

This is the key bit
It buys them another year, to see if the Ricoh can survive without the team.
Without putting a brick on the deck.

They will in my opinion buy land and produce plans

However they will not build it.

The strange anomaly is that it looks like they will invest in the team.

However I suppose that could get them 5 million and mount even more pressure on the council if we get in the play offs or heaven for bid are promoted.

Then I think sisu will have grounds to sue for damages.

Invest in the team? What by borrowing other teams players for a month at a time?
They've never invested in the team, that's why we're in league one

It remains to be seen.

My point is if it wasn't
Whose to say the first judge was not right and the second wrong etc etc.

You should abide by the judges decision if it is that definitive, and have a threshold where an appeal is allowed if the judge says it was a tough decision.

But an appeal seemed farcical in these circumstances.

Then for SISU to win it you must question our legal system. How can you go from this request is an absolute joke to yes it should happen.

I just hope new evidence came to light.

According to my solicitor friend, it could take approx 6 months to get the case listed, and a further 2 months for the judgement.
This could then be appealed through 2 further courts.

I think that is a pretty accurate call.

I was actually going to give your post a like till I read the end: 'heaven for bid are promoted'
Really? You don't want the team promoted?

I guess ACL would just go to a commercial lender and borrow the money to pay the council back and we're still no closer to a return to the city.

I definitely do want us promoted

I meant look at the pressure that will place on the council if we are in the play offs never mind if we get promoted!

Can see how it read to you, but was not meant in that way.

Why was it to the detriment of CCFC? Because fisher said so?
It secured the future of the Ricoh, CCFC should have been happy about it, but weren't because it meant sisu couldn't get their grubby hands on it for a pittance

2 years I would think if both sides contest decisions.

1 year to get a decision
1 year of appeals of that decision.

Just to let you know, you are coming across as a bit of a bellend too. Take it outside the pair of you.

I don't think its legal to take your bellend out outside.

To get a case actually before the court I would think 12 months is a reasonable guess, then the normal delays followed by appeals.....meanwhile fans will be following a new leisure pursuit.

As For SISU being prepared to invest in the team on the back of three loan signings??? Some fans are easily pleased, enjoy your season ticket at Sixfields!

That's not exactly my problem... my problem is certain people come on here and continue to be Done with the club and all that but still refuse to move on

So move on means stop supporting? or what?

Do you just attend Sixfields to watch football or do you have an interest in items that might see your club disappear?

Then I think sisu will have grounds to sue for damages.

If Sisu could sue the council for damages based on the council loan to ACL, surely ACL could sue for damages over the high profile lack of rent payments? They could argue they'd have attracted more business without the negative stories put out that they were teetering on the brink etc.

Either way it makes it less likely that we'll be back in Coventry anytime soon.
