So move on means stop supporting? or what?

Do you just attend Sixfields to watch football or do you have an interest in items that might see your club disappear?

Your the one saying your Done with the club and others like you have said in the past they will no longer support the club... what do yo mean by that?

Something got under your skin there??

And for the record, I'm not Pro-SISU or Anti-SISU... However, a few people on here need to realise that the situation isn't ALL their fault. CCC have a large part to play in this bullshit and maybe this result might change a few peoples ideas on them!

Give it a fucking rest. People are at their wits end about the possibility of not seeing ccfc back in Coventry for years and you're treating it as a joke.

I will always follow the club in some capacity. Season ticket holder over 40 years. I don't do six fields and after the weekend i don't do away games.
In 6 months time I might be just checking the results in the paper, who knows.
What i do know is, is that everyday that Sisu are here, my level of support drops a level.

At some point Sisu will piss you off but in the meantime you watch your football.

That's not exactly my problem... my problem is certain people come on here and continue to be Done with the club and all that but still refuse to move on
You mean a bit like Tim Fisher who said many months ago, 'We have moved on'.:thinking about: Isn't it about time SISU moved on from their obsession with the Ricoh and put all their efforts into this magnificent new ground they have continually promised us.:D

Unfortunately there will be more and more following this stance it is inevitable I feel.

Hopefully just Sixfields goes down and away goes up.

Who pays for this JR anyway?

It's based on the fact the highest ever ticket revenue was around £5.2 million - I can't remember if that is VAT inclusive but it's an accepted fact, well Astute seems to believe otherwise.

Considering that what you say was the average ticket price is lower than the cheapest season ticket at the time......

I currently feel so sick & tired of all this shit serving as such a distraction that a poor result/performance at MK Dons is likely to be my last interest in anything bar looking at results, match report & table position. Nobody other than us fans has real interest in much beyond the money. I really cannot see any positives for fans in any of these sideshow activities.
So shit is our standing that SISU will IMO probably cash in with the players come January & next summer - & who could blame them for not staying at this circus...SP will then think "What's the point?" & leave too, relegation will then follow. Then there will be at least 5yrs in the wilderness of L2.
The future appears anything but Skyblue at the moment.

If it finds the money has been used improperly to the detriment of CCFC, what would the prevailing view be?

Can't speak for anyone else but I was actually thinking last night that in my mind that I separate SISU and CCFC off into two different groups. Everything on the pitch players and manager is my club, CCFC and I'm 100% behind them, my nearly 40 years of support hasn't diminished. The other group is SISU and they are not the club, they do not have over a century of history in our great city and have made decisions about our club that make my blood boil - like moving us to Northampton. If it could be 100% proven that the council loan to ACL was done maliciously to cause problems for the club and wasn't done to stabilise the business which the council is a part owner in - then that's bang out of order.

However there's a flipside to that coin and that's the Rent Boycott. It would also have to be 100% proven that the rent boycott wasn't done maliciously to cause problems for the ACL and wasn't done to destabilise the stadium business which SISU obviously have their eyes on.

I guess all this will come out in the judicial review and we'll be at Sixfields for another year at least.

The only winner here is the bloody legals!
The law is a farce (or should that be arse)?
How can one Judge say one thing & another, the complete opposite?
Is Joy a legal?
Bet this will drag on for years, the club stays in Northampton & the Ricoh grows weeds.....
Them gypos well & truly laid a curse on the Arena!

Les Reid said yesterday that if SISU lost this decision, they could appeal. Can CCC appeal?

oops, ignore this, didnt see the other thread...

The telegraph are running the story with this headline which I find misleading at best:

Sisu wins judicial review decision over Coventry City Council's 'bailout' of Ricoh Arena

But they will not start the new stadium until this is sorted. They have the excuse they are looking for not to actually do anything.
They will not settle until they get the Ricoh for nothing as Seppalla has already said. This is personal for them.

I don't want to be part of this. The club is finished by this decision.

Well bog off then

Was surprised that they won on all the grounds put forward, expected they might on maybe one ............. but lets be clear what they have won.......... thats the right to have the evidence examined in court supported and put forward by legal counsel. That does not mean they will win, that the council are acting outside of their powers, that loans have to be repaid etc etc ....

My understanding is that the Council have not supplied the Court with detailed evidence to rebutt any of the claims made, and the decision today has been made on the basis that the judge found the SISU barrister's assertions that there may be a case to answer more compelling than the CCC barrister's

As they say every dog has its day in court.

It will drag on for many months yet. That I suspect means that while it is going there will be no chance of a CCFC return to the Ricoh. Will a new site be purchased, maybe but developed ? we will have to wait see. If the new stadium were to be built then wouldnt that render the JR largely pointless. The remedies for a JR of this sort do not include the right to compensation as i understand it - that would require a further action after the JR case finishes it appeals etc. In any case it would be hard to prove great financial loss because the counciltook action because of a delinquent tenant .

What I do not understand ....... from purely a fans point of view ....... how does this benefit the football club, or the fans ............ looks like several more years at Sixfields with the increasing financial pressure that brings in terms of FFP etc. How does that benefit the team or fans?

one last question ........ it has been mentioned by plenty as to who is paying the ACL legals etc ...... but who is going to bare the the costs of the SISU legal actions ..... SISU or CCFC ? (i do not mean who actually pays over the cheque btw)

It will be what they call commercial income fp ........ sponsorship, shop sales, tv monies, league monies etc (it is not the sale or profits on players though)

Is it a bargaining tool? I don't think so personally but who knows?

I must admit from a CCFC perspective I don't see the benefit, aside from a spiritual victory for SISU over the council.

I don't think anyone should be celebrating this debacle rumbling on any longer than needed. So sick of all of this. Every point where there could be a light at the end of the tunnel, it turns out to be a train. :/

a spiritual victory for Sh1tsu? i support CCFC not Shitsu but each to their own i guess.

it doesn't benefit the club. infact it does the complete opposite. but as joy said the only people she cares about outside of her family is her investors and her investors are the only people who could possibly benefit from this should they win. not me, not you and not CCFC. i suggest you start realising that and fast if you dont want CCFC to disapear for good.

"If they were to win it" haha
No chance, absolutely none!

Not gloating or anything because obviously this isn't something any of us want to be happening, but this the precise reason you shouldn't come out all guns blazing with matter of fact statements when in reality you are guessing. Obviously assuming you meant 'win' to mean the review to happen.

Les Reid@Lesreidpolitics2mUPDATE:Council just issued statement after #CCFC high court ruling: "We want to talk" with Sisu over Ricoh return & "build a relationship"..
