" Hit him on the head with a baseball bat " used to ring out a few times .
Every time the away team scored at any ground it was greeted with " your gunna get your heads kicked in "

Heard Lily the pink chanted at Hartlepool away last season.

Tip toe through the west end with your boots on...

Got to love Lilly the Pink the lads from the Wheatsheaf sing it a lot

Lily the pink was sung often at away games last season. At Crawley last season it was immense.
Get it going again tomorrow me thinks.

Oh we do like to be at the seaside
We do like to be beside the sea
Where you can walk along the prom
Tiddley om pom pom
Where the West End sing
fuck off West Brom!

Lily the Pink in the Wetherspoons after the MK match last year was superb ! We were having a good old sing song till someone decided to take the Christmas tree for a dance round and then after a bit of a bauble fight the staff called the old bill and the pub was closed....................at least long enough for a couple of hundred Cov fans to trot off back to the station ! Good afternoon that was, lets hope tomorrow is as good !

If I remember right the baseball bat song was in the punk era probably based on the Ramones 'beat on the brat'

Around the same time
I'd rather be a muppet than a Scouse!

Build a bonfire, you're going home in a f'ing ambulance.

Have started to hear 'you are my city' a lot more which is always a good one. Would be nice to hear a few old ones tomorrow although I'm guessing we will just sing PUSB 40 times out of sync with a few anti sisu chants.

Remember most of them, but never really got the words to lily the pink? Any one care to type them up??

As for tomorrow's songs:- we want to go home,,, Northamptonshire a shit hole, to go home!

Haven't heard a good sh1t on the villa for a while. Used to love it at highfield road where it would slowly build up then all of a sudden the whole place would be singing it! When I was young I thought it was sit on the villa! I sang along none the wiser! Also twist and shout between west terrace and the Kop.

Don't know why .... but the old 'hit 'im on the head with a baseball bat' song always made me smile. Often followed by 'you're going home in a ****ing ambulance' Idiotic twaddle, but strangely nostalgic.

I remember years ago you could sing songs that would probably get you put in jail nowadays!

If I had the wings of a sparrow, if I had the arse of a crow,
I'd fly down to villa park tomorrow,
And s**t on the bastards below...

It was a bit of a one off but thought that "Feed the Pompey, let them know its Christmas time" was witty at the cup game a couple of years back. Feed the City....
