Already ducked out for a couple of years, didn't bother with the attention seeking 'I'm leaving' threads either...

Never ceases to amaze me how spiteful some are from behind a keyboard however, never ceases to amaze me how people never understand we're all needed too...

Then why temper your original post with "I just popped onto this thread".. and then condone it... sorry but as Spock might say.. "Illogical"

Condone it?

Only grendel's actually bothering to stand up to crazies on both sides in this thread, and I thought he was supposed to be the boogeyman around here!

Or the one-eyed monster choose to ignore him challenging RFC too?

Both my eyes were open to Grendels challenge of RFC.. go seek ....

Politicals is always circular and the extremeties touch each other. Extreme Faciscm and extreme socialism meet as one. In the same way RFC and SpoinKop, Dadgad etc. are very similar. They are all misguided morons. RFC won''t take me on -- he is a fool who I suspect actually attends matches only in his tiny mind.

Zero 'home' fans would be a huge news story. The number of away fans is utterly irrelevant.

Where would this be a "huge" news story? The Times, Telegraph? It would just about get mentioned in the Coventry Observer - no one outside Coventry gives a stuff.

I do not think the JR can answer the important question, What happened to all of the money the Club should have had from the sale of Highfield road (how much was that)plus the £60m+ from the sale of land to Tesco.

The answers to these questions would probably explain the horrendous situation we now find ourselves in.
:blue:

Well I agree with that!!!!!

We pissed it up the wall on wages for Chippo and Hagi and Chippo and Haji and Keano. Keano.

plus the £60m+ from the sale of land to Tesco.

Was never ours, the land was always CCC's.

Ultimately they do in a kind of way. Over ambition without proper controls and piss poor upper management are to blame for the mountain of debt pre-Sisu (and up to Fisher/Waggot post-Sisu).

The club should have gone through admin when it was all the rage and started anew with the remnants of a top flight club.

The situation we find ourselves in right now however is entirely Sisus. The majority of the debt, the erosion of our fanbase, league position and playing location are all their responsibility. The time to protest previous mistakes has passed, it's the bad decisions being taken now that matter.

This thread is awesome. So far we have had miners strikes, fascists and communist. To complete the deal. I'll chuck in Nazis.

But it's not though. Lots the cumulation of a series of bad decisions over 20 years that have hot us here, over spending in the PL, selling HR, building Ricoh then selling the rights, agreeing extortionate rental deal, not dealing with an unaffordable wage bill, not renegotiating the rent, not going into admin, then selling to sisu, sisu not dealing with the rent or buying a part of ACL at the start, sisu not dealing with the wage bill at the start, deviating from the plan of buying young and cheap and selling high, not investing enough to stay in the championship, not paying rent, moving from the Ricoh. Plus unrealistic fan expectations and ACL taking every penny they could from us.

Lots of bad decisions, so many people at fault, you can't ignore what happened previous to sisu as it was instrument to where we are now.

Get behind the TEAM ( and Manager ) at Sixfields PLEASE!

Bored with all the politics ( who's right who's wrong etc. etc )!

I'll say yet again "I don't support any of the waring fractions, be it the Council or Owners or those who manage the Arena for that matter".

I SUPPORT OR MANAGER & HIS STAFF & THEIR WONDERFUL YOUNG TEAM.

PUSB! Bring on Crewe!

Get the team back to the RICOH

As an academic exercise, sure. But as an active focus of fan protest?

What exactly would you want to happen about previous mismanagement? Or is it just so we know?

I'd rather focus our energies where we can actually impact things going forward.

My first City game this season, bloody loved it, have always been a regular until this season, we were the crazy ass fools on Xmas jumpers if anybody spotted us. Still not sure I can bring myself to go to Sixfields. Big respect to SP, doing a grand job, must also give a little credit to Waggot and Sisu for bringing him in I guess.
