That is what a lot of people were suggesting would happen. A few have said this won't work from day one. These people were branded Sisu supporters and scabs etc. Look at the anger directed at Grendel in this thread for suggesting it isn't working.

We are led to believe that the club have been offered a free (yes FOC!) deal to play at the Ricoh.

Those far more knowledgable that me have said that SISU's recent tactics showed them to be on the run, desperate, the investors are getting twitchy.

And yet, and yet....the offer of a 5 fold increase in attendances at no extra cost is rejected.

TBH I'm not sure why people are so hung up on NOPM. To me it was one approach to try and get us back to the Ricoh (by 'starving' SISU). In theory it could work (albeit long term), but like a changed Govt policy, we wanted short-term-ism and so support for it dwindled.

My interpretation of of SISU apparently turning down a rent free offer is 'final proof' that they had never had any intention of accepting any of ACL's offers.

I haven't seen any evidence whatsoever to suggest that the boycott isn't working. On a PR front it's clearly drawing national attention to our plight, and it's obviously hurting SISU financially whether they admit it or not.

I would imagine the latest news regarding the zero rent deal will only firm up opinion against SISU, but that's just my opinion.

One things for sure, it's far too early to give up on the basis that SISU 'might' win. There's no logic in that to my mind, just weakness.

I'm not going to Sixfields because it's wrong to move a club 34 miles away from it's home City, not to starve SISU out. The fact SISU are having to physically pay for this travesty is a bonus which may well become a bigger issue for them as time goes by. If we end up back at the Ricoh with SISU I'll be there in an instant. On the pitch they've made some good choices recently but moving to Northampton is beyond what I'm willing to tolerate

If they accept the offer though, would it not weaken their bargaining position from their point of view. If they return they want to do it on their terms to get to their desired outcome. NOPM is working as it is weakening their position financially, every time they get a player at the moment they are having to put money into the company, the attendances do not cover operating costs so surely the pressure is mounting? Investors invest for a return, SISU can only show a return on this by having some thing to sell that's profitable. NOPM

SISU are the dead ducks, ever one can see it is the ricoh they are after. Listen to Labovitch on cwr 8am to 8.30 on i-player, the question about the new stadium and here him waffle. The brill bit was we might get a conservatory.

For every pound SISU do not take at the gate they have to find from their accounts, no one knows how shallow they are. They are in it for the long term and so are we, it has only been a few months. This will take at least a year or two but we will force SISU to return or go. SISU said the ricoh rent was bleeding them dry, well we must be bleeding them dry now as they are loseing a lot more money. SISU are now sitting ducks.

I totally disagree. There is enormous pressure on SISU now, but they have laid out their plans and it will take at least a season or two to make them budge, not just a few months of a season.
Pressley and the young players have done a sterling job so far, but lack of funds, injuries and weather will take their toll as the season progresses. The turn in results will mean even lower attendances
and the pressure will mount. Have patience they will get their just desserts - mark my words! Without the core support SISU will not get investor support for a new stadium, and if CCC/ACL hold their ground
they will have nowhere to turn.

Also possible, or they're hoping that there is a chance we'll return and haven't moved on just yet. Despite statements to the contrary from Fisher, Seppala & Labovitch we don't appear to have moved on and as a result we're no closer to getting back to Coventry in our new stadium.
