Will people ever be happy as long a SISU are still here? (3 Viewers)

Reading many posts, I get the feeling that there a plenty of people who would rather see ACL retain the Ricoh than sisu get full ownership.

Do I like sisu? No but if they can get the Ricoh on the cheap and it means that ccfc can return I dont care.

I understand the lack of trust bit but they are currently the only show in town.

I liken this to the administration. Many people appeared gleeful at the fact that we would go into admin to get one over on sisu.

For the many years I have followed cov, we seem to have very fickle supporters. I sometimes feel like there are supporters who want us to do badly just so they can moan.

What's the worst that can happen of sisu get hold if the arena? At the moment we don't have a home, at least if they get it we have some chance to return to cov.

Given their track record you have to assume the worst...ie they will NOT marry the club and the stadium. The value is in the real estate not the football club.

What's the solution then? Nopm is not working. We can't force them to sell. I fear they will stick with their investment till the end of the club. I do believe it will either end up as them getting Ricoh or cov not existing any more.

it could well be both !

Looks like we're up shit creek without a boat, let alone a paddle.

If people do believe that is sisu's end game then what options are there anyway.

I won't be happy as long as sisu are here anymore even if we come back to Coventry, they disgust me so deeply that I'm not sure I can ever come back untill they are gone, It wasn't that long ago that I'd have been delighted if they had brought the arena but no longer.

Yep you could be right, but one thing is for sure, it matters not about the fans or the club. There is nothing we can do.

As much as I dislike sisu, I think the only option is them getting the Ricoh. Do I like that? No. Do I trust them? No. But it seems like the last roll of the dice.

Yes they might shaft us but were shafted anyway.

Speaking for myself if SISU bought the Ricoh I would attend. SISU have a lot to do to win back my faith, but like you say the only show in town.

I want the club to be successful and move forward.

However, SISU have to pay a reasonable price not be given it or get it cheap as chips. If they intend to develop it I think the the people of Coventry should be informed of those plans and planning permission be part of the sale.

If they develop it for the good of the city and the club I would have no objection, I don't think the council would object either.

I get the impression the council mistrust of SISU has come from the fact they have never voiced their intention or offered a plan of development.

Therefore they cannot judge whether such a sale would benefit the people of Coventry and the city or even the football club.

The issue is there was a chance to return to the Ricoh tomorrow for free.

Whilst they build their new stadium.

If your agenda is get Coventry back to Coventry ASAP.

Then you should be truly miffed as most are that this did not happen.

It's not a case of assuming the worst. It's a fact! SISU have admitted that CCFC(The football club) will NOT own the ground, wether it be the Ricoh, or any other football stadium. If SISU do manage to gain ownership of the Ricoh for "Buttons" what is stopping them liquidating the Football Club? and not as some of you on here think, that they will sell the whole package on to someone who actually cares about the Football Club. Total and utter rubbish has spoken by the owners since the start of their tenure, Nothing but lies..lies.. and....oh yes..more lies. £70m+ owed to them...............................Yeh right!!!

i want sisu out, simple.

here's the problems for me, the club has only ever gone in 1 direction since they took over, down. in the leagues and demographicly, ie Northampton.

the 2nd issue i have is not football related and this may come as a shock to some but their is life outside of football and most of them issues are bigger than football. the issue is you cannot set a president where local goverment takes on the responsability of making profit for the ugly face of capitalism thats known as hedge funds, it would be wrong on every level.

but i will not bite of my nose to spite my face and when the club moves back to coventry i will start returning for home games. but coventry does mean coventry, not warwick the NEC etc. i could live with a ground right on the border but any further the club loses its identity and becomes another franchise FC

I'm not sure that they even will build another stadium. I think it's all stalling to force ACL/CCC into selling. I think they are trying and doing a good job of distressing ACL in order to get the stadium on the cheap.

I do think they will get the Ricoh on their terms but just hope the do the right thing by the club. Not sure if they will though.

There is a huge amount love for the club. But we want longevity, not some short term fix that will shaft us further down the line.

In six years when have SISU sold you a plan, a business plan of developing the Ricoh. Or indeed. What are the plans and supporting structures for a new stadium?

Anybody who has ever been involved in new business ventures or expansion will know these should be in existence already.

However it seems people like you are so easy to have the wool pulled over your eyes. Reassured by a few woolly statements from SISU. Ever heard the statement love is blind?

Whilst Sisu own our club the fact is the club is now in limbo unable to progress. Our club is now a sideshow to Sisu Arvo getting their hands on whatever money they can by whatever means. This is why the JR means everything to them because it is their only hope of a damages pay day !!!

That is you banging on about things that have happened and won't change. Why don't you respond to my post about SISU future vision and plans? At least I am trying to look to the future.

The problem is SISU aren't selling any viable vision are they?

Turn it in FFS, if you were on the board of ACL you would have done the same thing, had Sisu bought what they were suppose to, had Sisu signed up to a cheaper rent deal, had Sisu told the fucking truth, had Sisu a shred of decency then would we be in the position ?

Ignoring your ugly sexism, the best thing we can all do is support SISU in forcing ACL to sell the Ricoh at a reasonable price to the football club. They might then be able to set out the "vision" you also desperately want to see.

In the short term, I would advise going to see the club at Sixfields, showing support for the team and putting some money back into the club.

The club will never be allowed to actually succeed without the departure of SISU. We have a deadly and incurable hedge fund disease now I'm afraid. It's symptoms will involve bullying, cajoling, loading of monstrous debt, management charges galore, exploitation of resources { If it ever owned the whole Ricoh complex} and that's if it get it's own way. The alternative if they don't will be the extermination of the football club even after the death by a 1000 cuts it is currently suffering.

Are you fisher in disguise? Stop winding people up, you go to sickfields and finance fishers new jag,
Do you still wash it for him free of charge?

I will be honest and say that my disdain for SISU is so bad that I would sacrifice everything, including the club, just to spite them.

That may sound extreme, and it definitely is, but what's happening at the moment is bigger than a football club. They are parasites that deserve jail for what they have done and I would rather see justice than my team again.

Its not extreme, it is inchoerent and confused..."spite" is a really crap reason to wish the demise of your club - you will soon forget this when you are back at the Ricoh next season moaning like fuck about the team again.

Incoherent and confused? What did part did you not understand? I wont ever return to the Ricoh if SISU are still owners and if they are, it means there bullyboy tactics, that you seemingly are willing to overlook, will have worked - which will just make me even angrier than I am now. I don't expect you to understand the depth of my feeling as I will be the first to admit it doesn't really make sense but my stubbornness and sense of injustice has bought me to where I am now.

Sure we shouldn't give them an easy ride.

Now come on guys...Lets stop this peaceful hoity toity, stick it up you bum, tree hugging, oh lets give SISU a bunch pansies as we come in peace and leave our club alone, morris dancing, football league letter sending, oh we want you back to mothership Ricoh at all cost, oh Les Reid just tweeting bollocks!!!

Only way to get on the front page is have a F**k**g RIOT!!!!!!
