Is legal action against Sisu a possibilty ? (1 Viewer)

In the aftermath of the events which unfolded this week with regard to threats of litigation from our owners. Is it a possibility that a disgruntled fan could take action against Sisu for what could be deemed as undue distress caused by this whole sorry saga and what is allegedly Sisu's/Otium's reluctance to accept this latest offer to play again in our rightful home and city. From what I have seen on this forum, there seems to be some people with knowledge of law which could point said claimant in the right direction. Would anyone know what this would cost for one person to bring this to court and as there seems to be a wave of disgust for their latest actions and offers of money for the defense of anyone who is implicated, could this be spent spinning it the other way ? I know it sounds daft but does anybody really think there is any mileage in this or is it pie in the sky. What sort of message would it send to our owners and the wider world that we as fans have had enough and decided to make a stand and what sort of coverage would it get if we could get some of the media/newspapers on board who have been on the receiving end before ?

Laughed at by who though ? surely if there is fanatical fans on one side of the fence then there has to be some on the other who are really hurting at not seeing there team play at home. I think there has been far more laughable cases either threatened or which have gone to court. All I am asking is what damage/attention would this bring to our plight, everything else doesn't seem to work and I'm not saying this would but what would it do to Sisu ? It may do nothing and would probably fail to get past the first hurdle as you say but what if.............

i started a similar post the other day but with the idea of suing the FL for dereliction of duty to CCFC fans and causing undue stress. i would suggest that the FL are not as experienced in the law courts as sh1tsu so might be the easier target.

If I'm honest, I could have wrote Nick's reply for him as he only ever seems to be glass half empty (not a dig, just an observation). But you are right in what you say about today's day and age, just imagine and I know it is a 10 million to 1 chance of it being successful (people do win the lottery at greater odds than these) what it would open up. Was it not just a few people who started this PPI thing that is everywhere now..........

Sadly taking legal action wouldn't work and to try unless you can find a no win fee lawyer an expensive thing to attempt. Can having a legal case against a company prevent it being wound up?

Love the concept-but,unless you know some Trillionaire who doesn't mind losing a few quid I wouldn't try it.
