Fisher said tonight it would cost 20m plus, start at 12-15k, be a maximum of 20-22k seats (he said there was no need for it to ever be any bigger) and based on a 60 acre site that will also house the academy.

Anyone think of any 60 acre sites that are available?

There would definitely be a need for it to be more than 22k. Maybe not in the immediate future, but if we hope to progress 30k has to be a minimum.
Starting at 12k-15k is an embarassment. That pisses me off more than it being outside of the Coventry border.

A certain poster tried to put me down when I said SISU say they are building a stadium seating 12-15k...The reply was...NO IT's NOT!!! It is 20-22k.......How I love it when I prove Torchomatic wrong!

Agree with that.
Backed up by references to Rotherhams new stadium. It does look okay but if we settle at 22,000 its almost like we have thrown our past away.

We used to get 26K in this division under Jimmy Hill. Presumably if you aim for 22K max your ambition is NEVER to be in the premiership.

I think a lot of people see it this way.
It's a backward step that some, including myself, will not take.
