How many clubs who are successful in the Premiership either don't own their stadium or don't have total access to matchday revenues?
Southampton would still be floundering if they'd had Coventry council to deal with.
That is not my argument though Grendel. My argument is that a new stadium is totally the wrong way to go.
We need to put pressure on ALL sides in this saga, Sisu, ACL and CCC, to reach some resolution.
A new stadium is NOT the way forwards. All we will have is a smaller stadium, with a much reduced capacity, of lesser quality, with us not owning it and still paying rent and it not being in Coventry.
It's a madness.
