Most importantly as if as you imply that most voters originate "on here"
An overwhelming majority of those who voted in the survey (89.7%) said they would support a campaign for an Independent Inquiry into CCFC.

Id suggest data supports that most "on here" are fair minded folk seeking the truth?:claping hands:

Does it not state.
A clear majority of those who voted in the survey (57.7%) said the current situation facing CCFC is all or mainly the fault of sisu and only a very small minority (5.3%) said it is all or mainly the fault of ACL/Coventry City Council while 34.9% said sisu and ACL/Coventry City Council are equally at fault.

It says 42% think the council are as much to blame. Hilarious.

I answered yes to that question as I hope it shows councils culpability in the granting of a loan to ACL.

& 57.7% apportion no blame on the council.

So much for the idea that most people blame both sides.

You want the council to be found guilty?

You do realise how bad that would be for the city?

It would be great to see Muttons head on the block. Yes I'd love it.

Well I've no intention of supporting the suing of my city.

To be honest it's about 50/50. Restores a little faith that nearly 50% have some common sense and know it isn't all one sided. Can't believe 10% wouldn't back an independent review. Why would you not want to know the truth?

G- Do the maths for me then.. Im clearly not in your arithmetic grade?

57% said sisu are mostly to blame. 43% spread blame across both sides. Most more polls have a 2 to 3% statistical error so that's very close given what's happened to the club. It's also very reflective of real supporters views. Not the ACL clowns on here. Face it if it said 90% was sisu's fault this thread would be 500 posts long. It isn't - its muted and it proves what I've said all along - this forum is not reflective of genuine fans who are far more intelligent and measured when looking at the big picture.

Sorry I cant read where it states that though, the 43% I mean or have I missed it?.... agree the basic maths of 57-43 is obvious.... but the 43% could be made up of "other" responses...not neccesarily as you write it?

So just to clarify, you apportion blame 50/50?

5% totally blamed the council and 35% said sisu and the council are equally to blame - not difficult.

The slant in your commentary clearly shows where you wanted the survey to go but the results must have embarrassed you.

It shows 45% of a survey advertised mostly on here blame the council at least as much as the owners.

Brilliant - Grendel proved right yet again.

5% totally blamed the council and 35% said sisu and the council are equally to blame - not difficult.

Im lost...

In my opinion no side is blameless, but one has done far more wrong than the other.

Starting back in 2003 I would say blame was 50/50, things that have happened since I would say have been more down to one side. Just my opinion.

Sisu weren't at the club in 2003.

Lets just talk data as we know it to be NOT inferential statistics. Not withstanding the acknowledgement from Michael that the survey would be re run in the new year due to wording issues around the survey questions...

57.7% Blame SISU only

5.3% Blame the Council only

34.9% Blame both equally.

Too many points to respond to individually I'm afraid. It would be great if in the New Year something could be done in conjunction with the Cov Tel and/or cwr that could provide some resources (or one of the supporters' groups which has resources that kcic just doesn't have). But whether it's possible to do something bigger and better or weebly/polldaddy.com is the only option (and I'm just hugely pleased that it worked) key thing is what questions should be asked next time. Specific wording for questions and answers would be very welcome.

ITT: why people without a basic knowledge of stats shouldn't either conduct polls or discuss their results.

Sorry Michael, much credit for the effort, but next time please get some help writing the questions.

This poll, especially the contentious questions, answers absolutely nothing because of poor answer choice. And this was raised right at the start.

It doesn't even say what Grendel wants, I mean it could, but it could also say 95% of people blame mostly Sisu or it's about 50/50.

Serendipity has him ask for help in wording for questions and answers next time, just above your post... I think you may have just volunteered ;)

Sounds like you have expertise in this kind of thing. Do you mind me asking what your experience/expertise is and as per previous post your suggestions for questions and answer options would be very welcome
