“I am a lifelong Coventry City fan and I want to see my team back in this area as soon as possible.
Back in this area ? Why not back in Coventry ? That just about sums it up.
New stadium my arse.

“I know there are many fans out there who are still not sure that a new stadium is going to be built but, having met with the owners of the club, I can see they are very determined to do so and I am hoping to see the first images of the new stadium in the few next days.

“The technical designs have been drafted and now it’s vitally important that supporters have a say and input on the look and feel of the stadium because we want it to be our home and a place where we enjoy watching and supporting our team.”

So, if the designs are drafted, what are we consulting on?

I've dropped her an email, as it includes my second name I seriously doubt I'll be chosen, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

All other issues aside, I love these kind of large projects.

If/when it is announced that the new stadium is outside of Coventry, I hope not to see any city fans helping.

No City fan should assist in relocating Coventry City outside of Coventry.

He could tell you, but he'd have to sue you...

tbf unless he's a Knatchball-Hugessen, most surnames are pretty common!

Tell me about it, doesn't stop people not putting you on the list just in case.

I'll stop being cynical, I'm sure I'll get a reply.

But are you neutral??

On the design of the stadium?

No, I have opinions, but if I didn't, why on earth would I want to be on the forum?

Am I fixed in my ideas for the stadium? No.

If you mean, do I hate Sisu with a passion, yes of course I do, but this isn't about that and if we are going to have a new stadium I'd rather it was one a bit like something we want.

Agreed but Im sure they will manage to get some to sympathies !!
Surely Sisu should realize if its not in the Coventry boundary the project will be a dead duck !!!

Yeah I'm torn as I have no problem philosophically with a new ground, and would rather try and influence it than just throw my hands in the air... but I'd like to know what the terms of reference are before so much as emailing really, as if it's just about pictures of Houchen in a ground in Coleshill, no great desire to have my name up in lights associated with it!

Count me out.
£20M, 12,000 starter like Rotherhams, whats to discuss ?

Agreed ,whether there'e substance to it or not ,only 2% believe It ,interesting timing after yesterdays results ..More to the point an excercise/Vehicle for communication .

Fisher Is unable to get Oxygen ,as with the Shareholders meeting last week this is His method of maintaining a voice ,by proxy.

Must be the only set of fans in the country who had a brand new stadium built for them, and then 8 years later some of these fans are excited about another new stadium being built just because a Mayfair hedge fund haven't got their way against a council and a charity and they say a new stadium is only way forward.
Sooner or later they'll have to follow through with this charade so as to save face, but it'll mean CCFC are a further 20m in debt and no chance ever of sisu/arvo getting their money owed back.
Everything about it should be seen for what it is...

How do we know this woman is a genuine city fan? Is she from Coventry? Is she/was she a st holder?

Anyone can say there a fan of a certain football club when it suits.

How do we know she isn't just another sisu stooge?

I don't care if she is a City fan or not to be honest.

My opinion - I would prefer to be at the Ricoh but if they are insistent on building this damn stadium I would like us to have a say. I don't want to end up in a 12,000 seated stadium because no one believes they will do it, so can't be arsed to offer an opinion. If they are going to do it we need to have a say.

sent her my ideas earlier.
sandra I’m, also a lifelong fan but unfortunately too busy to contribute to this grand scheme. I think the key to our future success is pies, the owners were right to identify the lack of pie money for our demise. We should concentrate on maximising the sales of these with wider concourse areas with a large choice of red brown and reggae reggae sauce - need to maximise our appeal to all cultures. Stadium sponsorship by Fray Bentos is always a possibility.

By the time the fans have trekked to the stadium in the middle of nowhere they should have a good appetite. We could include pies in the half-time entertainment, pie eating, how far you can throw a pie etc...

Pie for now

This is pretty much my view.

Can't bitch about lack of fan consultation then not take it up.

It's probably all bollocks, but even so it's worth engaging with so they can't do what they like and claim fan support.
