I hope Torchy isn't letting his kids accept Werthers from any of the old men associated with Grendel.

F..k me. Football even united enemies in the Great War (only just before my time!). Now, after having a ST for decades I'm just totally pissed off with the whole heap of crap. I'm no longer even bothered whose fault it is - we are where we are and it stinks. I'm even getting pretty bored at watching football on TV. I feel my lifeblood has been sucked from me and to be honest I'm almost past caring. What a shit fan I am.....

no your not mate, i'm 48 stood on the crows nest at age 8 on a milk crate with my dad and was hooked....had a season ticket and both my lads were city fans now in their twenties, but enough is enough the flame that once burned is slowly being extinguished thanks to this arrogant selfish bunch of people that now own us.

I'm not alone many of us now see no light at the end of the tunnel and we too are almost past caring..enough is enough!

I didn't get angry at the suggestion. I wasn't going to go, was pretty determined that I wouldn't, but I relented and I did. Don't regret it at all. Don't feel ashamed, guilty, amoral, disloyal or evil. My son and myself have a good time watching our team. Nothing else to say. I know it must annoy you and your chest beating mates on here but the people that go are mainly families and the kids enjoy watching their Sky Blue heroes. Get over it.

If you don't want to go fine, but don't attack those that do. It's none of your business.

Is this the same Torch who said he wouldnt go to Sixfields? In fact got quite angry at the suggestion...You are full of bullshit fella.

Everyone posts their own opinions on here, that what forums are for, I gave mine, an honest opinion unlike your shite.
And yes we live in a democracy, the vast majority of fans choose not to go to Sixfields because they also feel it isn't right, live with it.

Torch, The fact is based on your posts here I suggested you go to Sixfields, you told me to fuck off. A few weeks later you say you've been...

Your position never made any sense, despite 100s of posts saying you wouldn't go. Now no doubt we will hear how great Sixfields is, a home from home, full of cherry apple cheeked children and their dewy eyed fathers.

Why didn't you just take them to away games?

No, it's not "great" and it's not a home from home. However, my son loves going to see CCFC play. That's all worth it for me. I really don't care what opinion you or others on here have about that. And again, families go and enjoy the football. It must be difficult for someone like you to hear, but that's the truth of the matter.

Because then you take your kid to see CCFC without getting involved with the Sixfields nonsense- for the reasons you used to say for not going, like Cov shouldn't be playing in Northants.

When would you ever go anyway? Have you ever been to a game anywhere?

I think this is pretty much where I am with this whole fucking situation. My kids have found something else to do on a Saturday afternoon and I'm pretty sure if Cov were back at the Ricoh any time soon I would struggle to get them to come with me to watch them. And if I'm perfectly honest I wouldn't fucking blame them...

Thought so. Never. You are still online and can't answer can you? You are like that Dadgad - face it you'd never go unless of course its Wembley and then its a case of "I've always been a fan". It's because of "fans" like you we are where we are.
