It's confirmed - 12,000 stadium is more than enough. (1 Viewer)

As the survey is clearly gospel it did say around 20% of supporters will not return if sisu are here.

That means even at the Ricoh gates will be 8,000 at best. So in a new stadium even lower. Looks like they need to fix at this level.

As it's a modular construction it can easily be added to, just hope it's not soulless like the Ricoh.

I thought the 20% related to a RICOH return ,If Its to be HR2 in 5 yrs looking to be more like 5-6K. IMO.

Modular?? whats the point of that, even when we were at the Ricoh 12,000 would of been enough for 75% of games, but like Crewe JTP 32,000 were interested, we can't just add to the ground when its required, then take it back down when its not. Will there ever be reason to increase it over 12,000 perminantly???

Be better off building a 25,000 seater and closeing 50% of the seating for 75% of the matches.

Poor poor logic.

You're assuming that 100% of all respondents were regular Ricoh attendees prior to the move.

For all you know, only 50% of those answering went to the Ricoh previously and actually on return we'll see an increased gate.

What new stadium? I cant see one

Grendel,

Carry on the way they are going, they won't need a stadium at all.

Can already see the headline.

"The once famous Coventry City who spent nearly forty years in the top division have settled for a League 2 stadium"

However, there is no new stadium. Once the JR is out the way Fisher will take "The unbelievable offer"

I agree with this last line. No stadium Is a certainty so only logic Is to accept rental off. They have only 2 and half years left.

What if the owners invest in the team and make a genuine attempt at success.

Surely your attendance figures are based on a team in the championship/third division. Whose ambition was Lower mid table/avoid relegation at best?

only stadium that isn't a myth that I can see is the Ricoh

Correct.

In the real world "modular" for CCFC means building a 25k stadium with opportunity to expand. Draw Man U in the Cup in a 12k'er and you'd lose £250k in tickets you couldn't sell, no club in a place Coventry's size with a club of CCFC's history and latent support would embark on such a silly scheme, it's bullshit.

You have never been good on numbers, you should get a seat on the Club Board, as they declared 1200+ through the gates last night, although two separate counts by individuals at the match equated to 735

What they actually both counting identical numbers? Of course. I am good at numbers - a lot better than you at fabricating stories.

Oh I never thought of that.

Yes, you have a point. It may have been completed by armchair fans who never go to games.

Makes it even more worthless in that case.

Irony?

Would that be someone who says that a poll is flawed and then keeps taking stats from it to try and make a point?

On a serious note, I think we need to remember that the % of active city fans is actually quite low so nothing really on here or in polls represents those that go to games specifically. A ST holders poll would be good, but a bit pointless this season.

That is his whole point. That the survey is flawed. The real irony is you using the irony card when what he is doing has gone totally over your head.

First off people are using the survey as gospel to further their point. Your man Grendel says it's not reliable and he roundly told to shut up.
So using the 'gospel' survey he starts this thread with stats people won't agree with or like, so people explain it away by saying you can't rely on the survey. Thus proving his original point.

How are people not getting this?
It's forum tactics 101, and you are all dangling and seething like fish.

No. Just Grendull being Grendull. Just like when it was released he was trying to say over 40% blamed the council. Never mentioned that over 90% blamed SISUE if you used his method. And it is the most vocal anti CCC that were saying it was flawed. Of which Grendull is one.

Nice try for sticking up for the WUM though.

We don't want to stay in L1 we want to be in the Premiership and we need a stadium to suit.
