Of course it should. But its also worth remembering that league 1 clubs receive nearly £4m less in income (from the PL & Sky) per season than championship clubs. That has damaged the clubs finances far more than the rental arrangement.

That can equally be described as money that could/should benefit the club, which was basically thrown away by one bearded orange.

Yes, and thus making ACL richer (increases their assets).
It should be making ccfc richer, but sadly it doesn't. And don't forget - the money spent by the club at the Ricoh comes not only from sisu, but also from the fans.

A 90%+ reduction on a rate that was already over inflated. It's like buying carpets from CarpetRight at half the price of it's original price, even though the original price was only on offer for about a week.

That would be Illegal under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and if you spot a retailer doing that then you should report them to your local trading standards. The one good thing from the clubs perspective is that the lease is dead. If that status quo continued the club would have been constantly struggling to compete.

The hope is that the club will in the short to medium term end up in a better place. As for ACL - who on here seriously cares - they've made their bed and leached off the club. Time to start to actually do some work rather than lazily expect football supporters to pay their wages.

And as such should have kicked us out when Sisu/CCFC stopped paying the rent. Now as I understsnd it if we'd had nowhere to play (and having to arrange a groundshare apparently isn't easy) we could have been kicked out of the league*. I think we'd of had about three weeks at most to find a new ground.

Acl getting a loan off CCC is no different to ccfc getting a loan off sisu.

They are a commercial limited business. To an extent it's their raison d'être to do so. As such, don't blame them, blame the previous administrations who sold so much of the family silver as to make necessary the intervention of organisations such as ACL/CCC in CCFC's affairs.

That stated, again, the rent was too high, and needed to be addressed. There; there's my sense of measure. Maybe you'll match it for once with some fair criticism of SISU and their ambition/objectives?
