personally I dont think the announcement will have anything to do with the Ricoh, most likely an artists impression of the new ground. If it is just that then where is what I want to know

I don't see how that could be described as thrilling news though, except by about 5 people, none of which are cj.

This Is like the parent telling us to get to bed or Santa's not going to come . If that Is the case then Mr Upton Is being very misleading about tomorrows show.

If that is the case then its a bit cruel the way the media is building it up.

I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact CJ had described it as thrilling news. Had it been RFC then I would be in full agreement.

At the very least it would have to be plans and a purchase of the land. Just releasing plans for a ground hardly anyone thinks will be built wouldn't be classed as big news would it? Maybe enough for the CT to try and hype a big story but we've got CWR, CT and ITV all hyping it up.

If this news is so big and CWR, CT & ITV have all got hold of it, the must be enough people in the know to leak it by now, I'll monitor twitter

has CJ said the thrilling news he has is anything to do with CCFC?

I think releasing artist impressions would be newsworthy especially if the club were pushing for it to be

I could be completely wrong...... just dont want to see loads of disappointed folk on here

I'd just like to point out I didn't say "thrilling" or "big". I said "interesting". I'll let the readers form their own opinions!

It definitely is interesting though. Worthy of your attention.

The embargo has been put in place by the club, not the press. I'd love to tell you now!

It'll be online at 6am.

From what Simon said I doubt it's a confirmed move back to the Ricoh more of a last chance proposal to SISU under reduced terms.

I dont think it would be that as why would the club insist it be kept quiet. Surely its something from the club themselves. Probably involves lawyers whatever it is.

Embargo's aren't that uncommon when releasing news stories are they? Isn't it just done so that everyone gets to announce at the same time and nobody is seen to be getting special treatment. That said the fact that it is embargoed indicates its something bigger than a story they would just stuck on the club website.

Been a couple of posters hinting they've heard something last weekend from within ACL around a deal for February. Upton on CWR Is calling It anew development on the Sky blues finding a Permenent home..The higgs have money presently ????

If all this is, is plans for the new ground, I'll jack in tomorrow's wage, travel up to Coventry and personally ram them up fishers arse sideways.

TF smilng his fooking head off with plans of a stadium outside Coventry, trying to sell it as the cities club, will be my guess. Letting us know that the money streams will be important but failing to answers question on stadium ownership and rental costs to the club. For me that is not good or interesting news, just confirmation that the club that i have supported for 35 years is no longer mine to support..

However if its Sisu in talks to sell to someone who will bring it back to the city or indeed a deal brokered to bring the club back to the Ricoh all should be happy including myself,, somehow i feel a dissapointing day is about to happen.....

If it's designs for a new stadium then that was a quick fans consultation on what they wanted!!

If it was a return to the Ricoh, surely it wouldn't just be 'an embargo from the club' stopping the release. And a return would be more than 'interesting'.
I reckon location of new ground, pictures or some such bollox.

It'll be designs about this imaginery ground i reckon. We all know how sisu like to overhype stuff.

Normally though the media treat the imaginary ground with the same level of apathy as us.

CT might hype it up, but Central News rarely feature us unless its something news worthy.

I'm not allowing myself to get excited, I've been hurt too many times. I remember when The Guardian had BIG NEWS coming and it was that Inter were maybe possibly weighing up the options of perhaps bidding for Gareth Bale. Obviously Les Reid's fault, that one.

It's about the new ground plans, Sandra garlick said last week that the plans would be released in the next few days, sorry to piss on everyone's chips but i wouldn't get up too early, we were never going back to the Ricoh, they're not even talking to each other,
