Or it's Private Eye doing a bit of back covering and suggesting there may be complexities on both sides. They know how to stop being sued!

As a strategy that's completely useless. It doubles rather than halves the number of people who might take action against you.

It's probably more sensible to think that the first two articles were critical of the club owners who have done plenty wrong and deserve criticism. The second two articles might have resulted from analysing the murky management of all aspects of the club in more detail and deciding that the role of the council and ACL was worthy of criticism too.

No mention on here or from the Trust bedwetters on the interesting article in todays Private Eye about Coventry City. Ugandan politics alleged by our beloved Council and Directors.

funny that

I've had a good read of this article in the Rotten Boroughs and can find no hint of "Ugandan" politics.

I've searched through the rest of the mag but can find no other mention of our situation - not even a Planet Football section, unless you can direct me to something I've missed.

The 'Planet Football' anti-SISU articles were in previous issues. ('Planet Football' is one of the last articles 'In The Back' - in the past it looked at Rangers, and in this issue it's looking at Hull City/Tigers.) I don't think the OP understands what 'Ugandan Relations' means in Private Eye Talk ;)

TRS, what does "ugandan relations " mean ?, Idi's your uncle ?

Just substitute 'Ugandan' with 'sex'. Used especially in alleged extra-marital affairs, and where alleged blackmail/corruption/prostitution might be involved.
