I have a written (email) conformation from the club that if I'm unhappy with the additions to the squad prior to the new season starting I can get my Season ticket money back in full....well lets think about that for a milli-second:thinking about:

anyone else out there get the same offer and how many of you will be taking up the offer as I intend doing tomorrow ?

if they got an extra 100 season tickets out of that "offer", even if 10% do what you will be doing, they are still quids in, so a good promotion as far as income is concerned.

Having said that, If I bought a season ticket on the basis of that comment, I would be returning it asap as they never intended to honour the "making additions to the squad during pre season"

The club and the squad need our support more than ever, it's not their fault that the men behind the name have not gave them or AT a fighting chance.

We need to do what all fans of a club do, and back the players who wear the sky blue shirt and unite as one for what is on the pitch. Not take it out on the team because of the twats behind the destruction of the club.

if only it was that simple...

Years and Years of no success and yet everyone is blindly expected to cough up their season ticket and "back the team". AT will try and play the right way, but we just dont have the quality..

The club lost my season ticket money when they appointed Boothroyd, and they wont get it back until I see signs of someone willing to take this club in the right direction.

I will still go to plenty of away games and support the team, but SISU are getting nothing from me. I admire everyone who is digging deep to pay for a season ticket this season !!

I know by not buying one, i am "part of the problem" and I wrestled with that decision some 12 months ago, but just couldnt take it any more. Away games are a day out, win 3-0 or lose 0-3 its still an event. Going to the Ricoh in the past few seasons has been akin to going to the dentist !

All sky blue supporters, should be there saturday for the start of the season. Voices as one, and hopefully even the tesco stand joining. Put everything behind the team, because this year is one of the biggest years in recent times, we will struggle there is no denying that.

But we can aid the struggle and perhaps ease it, by being the 12th man - They/WE need it now, more than ever.

Sorry but its my belief that the board realise this is how football fans think and are now taking the pi**
I have followed this club for more years than I care to remember and really believe that this season is going to be the worst one ever....little quality, little firepower,no amibition and no money.......I might use some of the refund to bet on Leicester beating us 5 nil!!

Did you just get one on the strength of us making massive signings then? seems bit strange that! keep your ticket, you have backed the club now....AT will have us playing good football, with whoever we field, as previously pointed out, don't blame the players for the owners.

We need supporters like you, hang in there. A win against Fester on saturday will have you smiling for weeks :D

I have to have my season ticket this season. It's my last one before UNI. Haven't even considered not purchasing one or returning it. I support the club no matter what financial status

Complete respect that comment, however that is exactly what SISU rely on.

If it was any other form of "entertainment", the product on show would mean you would not go back, and the owners would need to do something about it.

With football, all they need to do is not saying anything, fans get annoyed, by on the whole do nothing about it.

I am not saying everyone should do something, but SISU know that they wont lose that many "fans" due to not spending.

Well I can't quite bring myself to hurt the team in my efforts to get at SISU. I'll just have to keep going, I love them too much.

Incidently, I will be happy with a shot against Leicester!

What we need to do as fans is turn up at the matches to support the team, they need it more than ever. As has been said before it is not their fault that there is no financial support in the way of new players from the Board.

What we also need to do is turn up at the matches and make it clear that the current ownership and support of the club by the board is not acceptable. Whether this takes the place of mass 'SISU OUT' chants at half time or full time or support of Hoffman is open to debate but we need to do something.

The problem is that we need the majority of the crowd to buy into this thinking and regularly at every match. We need to be the 12th man for the team and we need to be making life uncomfortable for SISU. The more we protest the more it will start to be covered in the national press and the more pressure will be placed on SISU and the board to move on and let Hoffman turn this club around.

First and foremost however:

We haven't had any additions to the squad, just a couple of essential replacements for Westwood & Quirke.
On the whole we have lost players.. King, Gunnarsson, McIndoe, Osbourne, O'Hallaron, Carsley

25k people shouting SISU OUT, or 10k people due to being cheesed off...

SISU would listen to those chants and say "if you all turned up like this each game, we would have money to buy players"

The ONLY thing that they will listen to is MONEY.

and regarding "punishing the team" for the baords failure...I am pretty sure that, soon to be out of contract Sammy Clingan (our captain) is more concerned aout playing alongside someone who has never played a league game, then there being gaps in the stands !

If you want to protest then it needs to be something that SISU will have to listen to and get a huge fine from the FA to boot, have to be done during the match, so only choice would be to get all games at the Ricoh abandoned by having mass pitch invasions. :thinking about::pimp::D

ha, then they would have to play behind closed doors...

wouldnt look much different would it !

We don't have enough supporters to have a mass pitch invasion. 
