In before the comments start about the meeting only being open to the Sixfields super fans!
The first question I would ask is how come weeks after 'lifelong fan' Garlick said she had see the plans we had Labovich on CWR saying we were only getting an artists impression and not the plans as the plans didn't exist yet!

I think anyone attending should give full support and get behind the building of this stadium, push for dates and make it ASAP.
I think the stadium will not happen, it's a bluff, the club will be back at the Ricoh just a case of when, but in the meantime push for the new stadium to be built and call that bluff.

Can't take credit for that one, sure it's been used many times on here. No idea who came up with it first. Being serious do they not put any thought into these things. Having the first meeting open only to those that go to Sixfields is just giving people a reason to moan. i can't imagine there's going to be thousands wanting to go so why not just make it first come first served and if there's enough demand do a few nights in a row as with the fans forums last summer.
Read again...........Stop having a go at fans who choose to go to sixfields for once its there choice not yours!......There is a second date for anybody who wants to go knobhead!

The very fact that she keeps stating the SISU favoured 'Coventry area' makes her sound less than impartial to me.
If she is totally independent and impartial I wonder how SISU got hold of her, I don't recall anything asking people to come forward if they wished to lead a group like this. Given that her company is one of the only local companies still advertising with the club its easy to see people viewing her as less than impartial.

I can't understand why they would open it up to season ticket holders first? It's creating even more of a divide isn't it, giving them special treatment? It's not quite the same as having priority on cup tickets is it?
She needs to be told in no uncertain terms that no one wants or needs another new stadium, and coventry should be in coventry at the Ricoh, not coventry area.
She simply can not be impartial, she's reporting back to fisher.
And being leader of chamber of commerce she will be fully aware of the positive economical impact having CCFC at the Ricoh brings to coventry, and the negative impact them not being there has..,

Is she leader of Coventry Chamber? If so someone should ask her why as leader of that group she is assisting SISU with plans to build a new ground outside the city. Surely as leader of the chamber she should be pushing for a return to the city so that her members can enjoy the economic benefits.

If we were at the Ricoh we wouldn't be having the forum! But I see your point. A forum at the Ricoh with Elvis for ST holders would be viewed more as a benefit for ST holders. This is about the future of our club, there are already huge divisions and making a meeting ST holder only is just giving people ammunition to snipe.
Also, given the lack of protest against SISU by Sixfields attendees, it could be viewed that there will be less resistance to the new stadium plans from an audience made up of those attending Sixfields. You can imagine Fisher and Labovich spouting off about how well received the plans have been after the first forum.

If it was open to all I would suggest that there would be a mix of Sixfields and non Sixfields attendees and that there would be some in favour of the new stadium and some against it. Chances are that those who are happy to travel to Sixfields are less likely to object to a new stadium in the Coventry area therefore an easier audience to get their message across to.
I'm not sure you can state that everyone who isn't a season ticket holder would be against the new stadium. If that's the case then SISU have a huge problem as they are only going to sell a handful of season tickets at the new ground, should they ever actually build it.

Just seems to me that why give the ST holders first option on such an issue.....it gives me the impression they feel their input is more valuable than anyone else's.

It is, but they're just having two separate meetings. Ideally they would have a mixture but they're not. At the end of the day everyone will get the chance to air their views so I'm not sure what the fuss is about.

Perhaps it would be more beneficial if the club had taken season ticket holders from this season and the last two seasons.
Announced 2-3 dates and then let the fans book the date which suited them best.
This way you would have a broader spectrum of the potential fan base. I would have thought it would have been important to engage season ticket holders we have lost in the last 2-3 years with a project like building a new stadium. Surely the return of these customers is key to the projects success?
