Moussa contract till end of this season, unless he extends his contract during January I think that will be the end of his stay with CCFC.

Fleck signed a 3 year deal in July 2012, so likely be here till end of next season.

I like Moussa, would be nice to keep him a bit longer. I'd like to see him play in behind Clarke while Wilson is injured.

God ... didn't realise he was clear of contract come the summer ... that's a big mistake by us if we don't nail him down SOON .. he's class at our level.

Murphy as well they would be huge losses - ones that we wouldn't replace with our non existent budget

Only got a short deal as he was let go by Leicester who didn't rate him. So was a bit of a gamble when we got him.

I think we are all kidding ourselves. I think come the summer we will have lost all our top players. Sisu will milk us dry!!

As we're undoubtably making significant operating losses, how will sisu be milking us dry? If anything money from transfers will go towards funding these losses, not given to joy to hide under her mattress.

That's a rather short term view. The losses only exist because Joy wants something to hide under her mattress in the long term.

That's how Sisu are milking us dry, or do you expect them to write off those losses? They'll expect as much as possible back from a potential freehold sale.

But I agree, we're not selling anyone any time soon without reason.

That doesn't mean that some of the cash won't come from player sales as part of their business plan.

So you accept it's nothing to do with the Sixfields boycott if it did happen? Just business as planned right?

Aside from the fact that the Arsenal game now wipes the Sixfields boycott out in one fell swoop financially.

No Shhmeee the losses have existed the years, under sisu and under previous regimes, and we've always sold players for this reason.

It's always been part of the business plan and has been for as long as I've supported the club.

Us boycotters can't have it both ways , we can't say the boycotting and witholding money is 'hurting' sisu but then claim it will have no impact on player sales. It's naive to claim that it will not be a contributing factor.

Not joking. Tim has assured the football league that funding is in place to compete in the competition in Northampton for the next 3-5 years.

Mouss has let a deal run down before, and only signed a two year deal at Leicester. Chances are he could let his deal run down here.

Possibly. I wouldn't be surprised if a offer is already on the table for him. I hope we do offer and I hope he signs. He was a gamble as he was let go by Leicester but hes proved hes good enough.

Agreed: Moussa needs to stay. Ideally need to give him another 2 years as he is a solid performer in League 1 and a valuable asset in our push for promotion. That length of contract will help get us up to the Championship (next year probably unless we can sustain a good run to shake off those 10 points) and give us a chance to see how he cuts the mustard at the higher level.
