I have always debated with the "SISU out" campaigners that whilst their motives may be genuine and to a large extent I've agreed with their reasoning, whilst there is no alternative we have to simply get on with it and get behind the team as that's the only small influence we can have.

I can cope without the lack of investment, I've put up with hardships on the pitch, the re-mortgaging and the constant stream of lies whilst I continue to part with my hard earned money for zero entertainment. We lost our ‘star’ players for nothing and have not reinvested in replacements. We have pending situations similar to those we have just gone through approaching this season too. I accept that the discussion of franchise players was never to materialise and that the future was the kids, but they must be used appropriately or their confidence could suffer irreparably.

But as the rug is constantly pulled out from under our feet and promises are broken to fans and management alike, we are now likely to see our one and only decent striker sold just days before the start of the season, enough is enough. We must pool all our efforts to ensure that we do all we can to get them out of our club.

I watched the ineffective Platt and R O’D last week, it was awful but I’m sure that will be our front pairing against Leicester and if it is, then we haven’t a prayer. I even feel sorry for those guys as they will be the new whipping boys but they’re simply not up to the task imo whatever spin people try to put on it.

If this continues we will go down regardless and if it was a straight vote to enter administration and a 10 point dip in order to at the very least maintain what we have, then I would vote for administration over remaining with SISU. My concern is that they will take the cash from player sales and then still enter us into administration so we have the depleted squad and the 10 point handicap.

SISU must go and they must go now!

SISU have spent/wasted approx £30m - not many others would be willing to do that with us, I'm not a SISU backer just a realist and I'd prefer there to be a CCFC struggling with SISU over no CCFC at all.

sisu wanted the stadium, we were just a team playing in that stadium that they had to buy to try and get what they wanted.

council saw thru them and basically told them they wud never ever sell their share of the satdium to them and sice that conversation sisus mind set has changed, they dont really want us and dont wanna waste any more money on us if they can help it, this "funding" until the end of the season will be done by selling juke, clingan etc and getting more loand out on future money we will be getting in such as tv money and season ticket sales for next season.

they wont put anymore of their own money in and our club will suffer massively because of it, the only way to force them out would be for every1 to take their season tickets back but that wont happen so until were bought by some1 else were fucked basically as in the meantime sisu will asset strip as much as they possibly can and will wait till they have the scott dann windfall before they even contemplate selling up.

they must be pissing themselves at this as they have still managed to sell over 8000 season tickets during this summer while they have let the best players go without replacing them, they must think coventry is a city full of mugs.

SISU have continually shot themselves in the foot in regards to their business plan as the reduction in quality reduces chances of promotion and reduces gates as less people will watch poor performances.
The only way this club will turn the financial plight around is to purchase the ground - there's lots of reasons why this hasn't happened cost mainly but the owners have also played hardball and have stuck to their guns for a deal.

All the time the club suffers worse teams, smaller gates and ever dwindling support as people have just had enough.

It is time for SISU to leave agreed - I do fear for the season ahead as the squad is too small and lacking quality. (which could end up smaller yet!)

Exactly. They lent it to us and now want it back because they bottled their own business plan and started selling the cheaply acquired young talents Ranson had been asked to build promotion upon.

Let's get something straight. This football club would NOT have gone out of existence under any circumstances.

Likely because only 1 group were interested in an ex prem club - and the club was available in a similar way to admin. Most of the money was owed to Robinson et al so unlike most admin cases money wasn't owed to companies (electrical suppliers etc etc etc) and everything that was worth anything had already been sold.

I honestly believe if we had entered admin we'd be in no better position than today - for a start the likes of Dann, Westwood, Best, King wouldn't have came through the doors and we could be gearing up for L2 football in a 32k seater stadium.

Yes. SISU deserve f*** all. They gambled, they lost. Football is not a normal business, the repercussions of ruining a football club are not the same as ruining a small company you've acquired. No wonder the investors' identities have never been disclosed.

That's fair enough, I'm just trying to point out it's not strictly SISU's fault and they've bankrolled us since they arrived. It's easy to say it didn't work or it's not working but we as a group of fans will never force them out as they'll always want some money back and as the money is owed to them the odds of admin are shortened considerbly as it will be them to choose admin to recover their money.

Yes things are bad at the minute but it's not going to get any better soon.

It is. To be honest I think we've been fortunate (in a strange kind of way!!!) the past few years re. off off the field side of the club. Spending money on players, not having to worry about our future etc etc etc. I think the takeover quickly masked just how bad we had it under the previous regime - signing the likes of Andy Impey and Paul Watson on pay as you play type deals.

Well, I live in Newcastle (have for over 20 years) and after what he did to them (old Newcastle Chairman) I don't want him anywhere near us. A lot of Newcastle fans blame their current prediciment on the state Sheppard left the club in when he sold to Ashley (it was Ashley's fault for not completing due dillegence mind!) - he didn't spend much of his own money and made more on interest than he invested - I believe.

He is wealthy but not enough on his own to sort us out unless he's willing to risk everything.

The football club is good for the City. The council should do what's best for our long-term future, provided they get back what they contributed (as a minimum). Not selling to SISU is a good move, regardless of whether they or Hoff's backers offer more, IMO.

SISU would happily hang on to the Ricoh and sell the club on separately / watch us fall down the leagues.

I think the council should get the full market value.... the club has already had significant help by paying a discounted rent for years. There is no reason for them to discount the value for the private company that is CCFC. We get from the city and surrounding area an average crowd of just over 16k (not all our fans either)the city itself has a population of 260K (let alone the population in surrounding areas). Ok there is a significant number that stay away from the Ricoh but the council cannot be seen to favour a small minority over the interests of the other rate payers. But really that misses the point, the 16K do not own the private company, so why should they discount significantly the price to rich money men who have an aim to profit from it.

btw they never said they would not sell to SISU. What they said was they would not be prepared to look at that until the owners had put the books in order and could demonstrate a viable business plan. I dont think SISU or anyone else has done that yet.
