To be honest, if you really want to go you will make it happen. I'm working nights that weekend but if I decide I'm going then I will find a way. And I live 100 miles north of Coventry.

Last time I went with Astute and Blackburn Steve, we parked in Cockfosters, pretty easy run in to Finsbury Park on the tube. But Friday is a ball ache from Cheshire, and the M6 is always shit, no train to Crewe to get back. So in might be a day of it and a car drive go early, providing as non season ticket holder I can get a seat....

Let's be clear about it.Most of the massive reaction has been caused by the fact that people have not gone to see the team play too many times this year ( no need to discuss the reasons its all been done elsewhere) and thought that they could get a "nice" day out of it. I think this actually helps us as some of Tue daytrippers can turn out to be the biggest whiners at the game. Where as Friday night kick off will see some of those not attend and create an even more positive atmosphere for our team.

All fans deserve to get to the game, not just those that "create an atmosphere", so lets not have any of this superior fan nonsense.

I don't really sing and shout at games, but up until this season I was as devoted as they come.

So all of us that aren't STH's whinge and don't go home with a sore throat? It is more like those of us that can't make many games appreciate it more.

Hope you can get a ticket and have a good night. I swapped shifts so I could go on the Saturday. Once a swap is in you can't change it :( At work til 5:30 Friday so hopefully will find a pub showing it. Will have to catch up sometime.
