Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no. (23 Viewers)

Hi guys, just to clarify a few questions I've seen pop up:

We had submitted FOI requests as well as the Trust - although they slightly beat us to the punch in terms of getting most of the info out!

The only differences were we also asked Stratford where as the Trust hadn't. But the Trust asked Hinckley, which we hadn't.

We received a reply from N&B whereas the Trust had not (at the time of writing)

Our requests related to building large seated sporting stadia rather than mentioning CCFC /Otium / Sisu specifically as to avoid any "commercial sensitivity" sidestepping.

The housing development at Exhall was thrown out on the grounds of access and infringing on green belt.

We're not saying it will happen, just that this seems the most likely location for a potential new stadium taking into account all the information we have and the people we have spoken with.

I hope that helps.

Happy to answer any other questions I can.

Simon,

I have just been aware in the last few minutes that you have also tried with FOI requests so thank you for clearing that up.

Perhaps we should now all be putting pressure on Nuneaton & Bedworth to answer the FOI?

No justification for a local authority to refuse to answer if it is in talks with anyone about a new sporting venue.

How do you do an FOI?

Only problem with all this false fiasco is the club are being saddled with the debts for planning applications, stadium forums and designs and all the other Sisu bullshit. If it is that area though I could think of a few people I would like to bury their.

When did the SBT put in its request? Be interesting to see if the answer is a carbon copy of the one the Telegraph got.

Either way they have to respond within 20 days, and if they don't answer the question they have to state why. IMO their reply to the Telegraph hasn't done that.

Please see below the new stadium sketches that I've just produced. Does this mean I've done something towards building my own stadium?

That's far to big for a couple of hundred fans.Further more it doesn't have a roof, your surely not suggesting
the fans of CCFC are getting Pe'ed on are you.

Well done you. If that was the only thing Sisu would have done then I would say you might have a point, but they've done more than that, whether you like it or not they're doing something behind the scenes, the main question is to what end?

How do you know if they've done something if it's behind the scenes? So far we've had them produce an artists impression which looked incredibly similar to the artists impression produced by the same person for Brentford just with blue seats instead of red. The chap who did it said in the CT it was very difficult as he was given no idea of location or budget. They've put together this group headed by the supposedly independent Ms Garlick, sure it's coincidence that her company is pretty much the only local company that has a sponsorship deal in place with the club. Now we've got this report which shows for a fact that both Fisher and Labovich have outright lied about being in talks with 2 councils. At best they may have spoken with one, and we don't know if they have or not, about a site that there is next to no chance of being able to build a stadium on.

We've put pressure on them too. I don't think they have real justification to sidestep our FOI request.

Thanks for coming on here and explaining things. I think that there needs to be more pressure put on all sides as this 5 years is already seeming quite a short length of time.

I do hope this thread gets mentioned at the new stadium forum tomorrow.
Was thinking of popping along, see if I could sneak in.
If any ST holders give Ms Garlick any grief will the get banned?

You have forgotten the clubs official Portuguese Chicken restaurant partnership ?

As RFC has said on many occasions the attendees do not complain or show any annoyance to what happens in sixfields.

Why should they change now need some to grow some balls and say exactly what they think,,,

The stadium wont happen. Even if they are looking at the area discussed they will never get planning permission in a million years!
