Denial on talks (3 Viewers)

With all the local councils saying no concrete talks are happening, is this all bluff and bluster to keep the FL quiet. The scenario which I think will play out is that SISU are banking everything on the JR, and if,God forbid, they win I can see massive compensation claims going in against CCC. The losses of being "forced" to quit the Ricoh, ie loss of ticket revenue, the cost of hiring Sixfields and all the policing and stewarding, plus anything else they can think off, will suddenly equate to the actual value of the Ricoh and the proposal will come.................give us the Ricoh and we will drop all claims. This is standard business practice.

I did wonder if there were roughly 6 month milestones that SISU had to report back to the FL on. We got the drawing about 6 months in, was that for their benefit to buy some more time?

Thing is it's only sisu saying they were forced to leave the Ricoh. They left on their own accord so they themselves have created the lost revenue....therefore I would doubt very much that a court would take the view of compensation..

Forced? They left to break a contract and to try and distress ACL.

I know that, you know that, but sisu refuse to admit that. All the time saying we were locked out or forced to move out.
No they weren't...

When the Trust met the FL they said they hadn't spoken to them about it since the start of the season and didn't plan to until the end. IIRC, the Trust asked them to look in sooner, but that's "at their discretion" I think.
