Shame on Nuneaton & Bedworth (4 Viewers)

But they haven't walked away, that's the problem. They said they've moved on but what is the point of the JR if they've moved on? Why are they mentioning 100 year leases if they've moved on?

They have walked away, have they not just released plans of our new stadium? - The JR is an on going legal argument that goes back many months before talk of the new ground. 100 year leases? This is just papertalk.

So make an offer! If they think the council won't accept a serious offer then put one in and call their bluff. They might get a bit more support from the fans if they can show they've made an effort to do anything. At the moment they're refusing to talk to the council or ACL and aren't aren't in talks with any local council about building a new ground. They're just sitting in Northampton hoping ACL and / or the council cave in and hand them everything for next to nothing.

CCC have categorically said time and time agin that it is not for sale - if it's not for sale why make an offer?

Have you got a link to these plans then as no one else has seen them. Even if you had started the JR before 'moving on' why would you keep pursuing it if you have no interest in the stadium anymore, it makes no sense to be spending out on legal fees for no reason. If they are that concerned about this sort of agreement between clubs and councils why are they not pursuing a JR against any other councils, Northampton for example?

No they have not released plans, neither are they involved in serious talks with LAs. The threat was made by JS to involve the council in time consuming and expensive litigation if they did not agree to sell her the Ricoh. I assume that is why the JR is still going on. There have indeed been many months of talks about the new ground, but as of yet nothing but - exactly that - "talks". There will be no new stadium - my theory based on the lack of progress so far - and the meeting tonight is just part of the continuing charade. Ms Garlick is putting her head in the noose. More fool her.

Have you every used photoshop?

The pictures could be done on photoshop by someone experienced although i'm buggered if i'm spending the next 8 hours or so just to prove a point.

Edit: Saying that, its much more likely they were done with some sort of CAD software

To a pro that would not have taken much work at all as they would already have all the elements rendered and ready to go. If you look at Brentfords proposed stadium (rejected by them as showing a lack of ambition) which happened to be by the same company it was exactly the same design just with the seat colour changed. Can't imagine it really took much work or cost to take some old designs off the shelf and change the colour.

Pretty sure they would. They'd have generic stands etc already rendered so they just have to change the colouring, put in a generic background and off they go. Can give you as many artists impressions as they want from any angle.

I have used Photoshop but like you say, they will be in some sort of CAD / 3D Rendering software. They more than likely didn't take too long but the people who keep saying "Anybody could have done these in Photoshop" I just wondered how many could have done them from scratch in Photoshop like people keep saying.

I don't doubt it is a template that has been edited a bit and then rendered.

Someone found an image of an early proposal for Brentfords new stadium which is being done by the same architects that looked remarkably similar.
I believe the architects took a discarded early version of the Brentford stadium design & customised it for CCFC..

i.e. it wasn't an original design, just a rehashed version of something they'd done earlier.

Do you take everything people say literally ? I am sure the point people are making is that what we saw is easy to do and you don't have to be Bill Gates or a top architect to produce something like that.
