If he were 'fit' (no sarcasm intended), I'd sign him on a pay as you play for 2 months while others get fit - actually think we might need someone like that for Sunday's game - obviously prefer a younger, fitter model (but beggars can't be choosers!);)

In fairness to Platt you would never describe him as a goal scorer.His job was to hold the ball up for the other forwards to get into position,a job he did quite well. However he is long past his best and I would
think the Conference would be his only hope now.

he wasn't good enough for a bottom of the football league side so why would we want him???
