Who does Astbury play for ? Sounds useful and prolific. Norwood plays for England C,and is only 23 so got years ahead of him.Our defence is non league standard this season anyway so a player coming from a lower league would feel at home !

Astbury is currently at Skelmersdale Utd....(top of the Evo stick northern premier which is tier 7)

Hes scored 16 so far this season.....he used to play for Marine FC & was a key man there too.....he makes just as many, if not more, than he scores.


Danny Maguire is at Blyth Spartans in the same division.....they are in the play-off mix at present, mainly due to his massive goal tally....

Thanks for the info. Can't see us going for a non league player though,but I reckon a quality lower league player could settle into this division easily.We will wait and see what happens now Wolves have bought Dicko,but if Clarke wants to go what can you do ?
