Myself I can't see any signings happening and would be very surprised if anything did happen. Its all rumours put out by the club to sucker more people into season tickets. Buy a ticket for the right reasons don't be fooled.

I know what you mean, SBJ; I had a rare day of not being able to get online all day. When I got in to see the frenzy of long threads on signings, I initially assumed something had actually happened today. The reality, at best, is that we may have offered a contract to a player who has been injured for almost a year (cruciate at that) who wants around twice what we can offer-and I'm not convinced about that one either as it's based on a couple of very vague sources.

The best we can hope for is a reasonably-waged Kevin Lisbie on a free. Not a great player, but not a huge financial risk, and one more player than I expected us to sign under this ownership! But the Le Fondre, Andrews etc specualtion is a bit silly. Is it all just wishfull thinking?
