Steven Pressley ran along the touchline to celebrate Moussa's goal but for some reason apologised for doing it, which I can't see why as it just shows his passion and enjoyment just like us fans. I've ended up on the floor after a goal, and hugged by fans I don't know, and sent hurtling down seats in front too. What's wrong in showing enjoyment in a goal ?What's the best City fan or City player goal celebration you've seen ?

I enjoyed Mcsheffrey's when he grabbed the corner flag, and shot all his teammates , very funny at the time.

Knocked myself out at Spurs the year we should have been relegated....its a really steep stand at Spurs and I had drank more beer than you can shake a hairy stick at. I was so sure we were going down...God bless our old freinds Sunderland.

Few years back against Watford away on my birthday. Night match and the beers were copious! Staunton dispatched a very late goal for a draw and as I leapt onto what I thought was my 20 stone mate, I realised it was my 10 stone son!! Cue massed lying down celebrations!!!

A large group of us were at Hillsborough for the quarter final in 87 all wearing Greg Downs bald head wigs.
What a sight we must have looked all jumping about at the end pissed up and happy, what a day !

I don't know about the best, but the scariest for me was when we equalised against Leeds in the semi at Hillsborough. Felt like we were being pushed down a mountain as we surged forward. Worth it though! Good old Gynny.

It was delirious wasn't it? The relief, the joy! When it settled down I was about 12 feet away from my partner and a guy at least six feet away was wearing my hat!!! My favourite goal ever. Bliss.

A funny goal celebration I seen was at forest 2003, Juan Sara on loan from Dundee scored 87th minute equaliser in a game we was never in. In front on the celebrating sky blue fans he lifted his shirt to reveal Jesus loves you. A week later we loose 2-0 at Rochdale in the cup! Being a city fan hay!!!

Talking about funny celebrations,I recall Gordon Banks in goal for Stoke celebrating a goal for them in front of the West End.He got pelted in bananas as he got called a monkey by City fans, but he calmly just ate one ! great keeper though.

GAry Mac's "no celebratoin" when he scored against us for Liverpool. You see it all the time now, but quite a rare thing in those days. Right in front of where I used to sit, and the expressoin on his face said it all - he knew we were doomed as well. Soz - didn't mean to go on downer!

Willo jumping into Pendrey's arms after the 30 yarder v Newcastle.

Garry Thompson after scoring the winner in the LC semi in 81. He was in tears as well as the rest of us where I was sitting!

Murphy's celebration on Saturday in front of the PNE fans was quite superb...

Ahhhhh what memories, one of the best if not the best City performance I have seen. Would have been happy with a point but the way we completely outclassed Spurs in every area of the pitch I think we would have beaten anybody that day. Rang up their club shop the next day and brought the match vid.

If we'd only got a point, we would have gone down with Middlesbrough staying up instead!

You've all seen this a million times, but no harm in another look. Forward to 7.50. Epic.

I was wearing a particularly loose pair of slip on shoes that day, I had to fight my way back up the terrace to find them after that goal

Can't remember the game but the one when Speedie climbed to the top of the fence in front of the West End and cut his hand on the spikes on the top.

I think it was after that they took the spikes off and replaced them with that gooey sticky paint.

I remember watching Gary Mac and thinking 'he's only doing that because everyone else does it these days'. It seemed completely contrived to me - and I'm sure his started celebrating before remembering he wasn't supposed to.

Never understand the love for Gary Mac. He signed a four year contract - was shit for two years, injured for one, brilliant for one, and then disappeared to Liverpool for nothing. Nice one!

My friends mum met him on a bus in Coventry and started to talk to him and gave him that very shirt. She worked in the church at Walsgrave.

I'm with you there...& add to that the ridiculous money he got, which really we could ill afford. Not that we should blame him for that mind you.
