I am sure many of the Skoda driving posters on here would aspire to an Allegro Van Da Plas - they'd probably live in it.

They would have to find one first. They're rarer than someone at sixfields shouting "I'm not happy that we are playing our home games 34miles away from home"

Somewhere in there however, even if you disagree with his conclusion, his views are worth listening to because he's closer connected to SISU than most of us, and can make a better guess at SISU's next moves than many of us. Unfortunately, this often boils down into what people want SISU to be like, and what they want them to be limited in, rather than actually trying to work out how to play them based on what they are like, and what they are able to do. That's how they got an easy ride to begin with where anybody with concerns was... shouted down.

Also don't think it has actually convinced him of that, just them 'winning' is the least worst option of those coming up on the horizon; that's hardly a ringing endorsement!

It's all academic really what anyone thinks of them or has more idea of what they might do next, the truth is if they were more transparent about true goals and ambitions then we could all hang on for the ride and support anything that might benefit the football club. As it is and as hedge funds generally work it's hard to see anything other than the spite and litigation that follows them around like a bad smell !

I'd love for a set of articles from various posters about how they see this playing out. No arguments in threads. No emotive insults. Just plain and simple what they see happening.

I think we get so caught up in defending a position or finding a small fault in someone's argument that we don't see the bigger picture.

For example, if someone could explain to me how CCFC will come out of this in any way financially viable going forward I'd accept it. I'd still argue the club should come home now because that's non-negotiable and nothing to do with anything other than personality issues, but I'd accept the owners and the strategy.

The problem is the owners aren't forthcoming, those that hold a separate view refuse to explain it and for many people it's no longer a matter of facts and details but simply "I don't want you here" and in something personal like a football club (or a relationship) that's a perfectly valid viewpoint.

Out of pity. It's not even a shadow if what it was. If you were part of it's pomp, you'd know that

I think you were called a cock by someone, someone else took the piss and you departed back to your equally clueless brain dead friends on here.

and as hedge funds generally work

It's remarkable, given so many people seem au fait with how hedge funds work, and how evil they are... that so few were keen to jump on the anti-hedge fund bandwagon when it was first mooted upon SISU's appearance!

Also remarkable how much support Hoffman has received at times since splitting from SISU. Sure, his roles may not have been in charge of Hedge Funds, but there are hedge funds lurking within the organisations he work(ed) for, often generating the profits that made such banks a 'success'... and failure.

Then again, there's Ranson. Never associated with hedge funds other than SISU, no sirree.

Or is it that they're the ethical side of Hedge Funds?

Or is it that 'Hedge Fund' is the easy brush to use just at the moment, and actually allows SISU to escape with the lazy ideological argument that 'they're a hedge fund' (which is about as redundant as someone in return saying 'but they're the council').

Some of the most vocal Sisu supporters used to be on GMK.

However they then reinvented themselves as uber-anti-Sisu protesters on here.

Maybe they didn't want to conform to Einstein's definition of insanity:

"Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

Trouble is every thread seems to morph into a sisu out, timmy, nopm ( except arsenal of course ) regardless of the subject. I bet if someone started on "saw Mcsheffrey in asda today" it would turn into a slanging natch within 6-8 posts

To be fair, it's usually because you come in saying "this thread will turn into a Sisu Out thread soon" ;)

Just don't feed the trolls. You can't stop people posting, but you can deny them the oxygen of attention.

Seen that happen on GMK too though, Steveo.

That's the nature of us football fans in general.

Hey I'll totally agree. Just saying that for many that was the point where we realised we couldn't control the genie as it were.

But yes (as that's what you're looking for) you were right all along ;) Now oh wise one, where do we go from here?

Unfortunately, the genie was let out of the bottle a long tine ago and we just have to let it run it's course, really don't think there is anything we can do now, if there ever was.

We didn't even get one fucking wish though!

I know! And I think you are slightly wrong and that's what makes the world go around.

Thread derailing happens on both sides. I probably get annoyed with you or Nick or Torchy making some preemptive comment about how people will slag off others as much as you get annoyed at other thread derailment. In fact, I've just spent 5 minutes looking through your post history and if you take out the football ones or general info like how to get to a game, it's almost exclusively you telling others what bad posters they are.

"You're wasting your time posting any football related topics on a football forum.Hence the two or three replies.Try putting Sisue or sisu or timmy or nopm or kcic if you want to hit the big time." - dig at the forum

"Interesting thoughts. Not prepared to support the lads wearing the shirt at sixfields, but prepared to support a journeyman wearing the shirt who clearly doesn't want to play for city." - Dig at those who don't go to Sixfields (and off topic)

"Erm...may I suggest that you come along for a game and drum up some support. ." - your first post in a thread asking why those who go to Sixfields don't protest (a fair question) and again off topic.

"Its a simple solution. Simply buy a season ticket or a membership. £207 well spent. I had no trouble getting my four tickets." - another post aimed at those who don't go in a disparaging way. And AGAIN off topic.

"or, come to think of it a home game." - ANOTHER dig at those who don't go to home games (and off topic)

"All the more reason to get your arses up to sixfields.Big push for the playoffs before the move back to the Ricoh next season......................in the championship" - another plea for Sixfields and another off topic

"Full of mouth frothers." - another insult to the forum

"Actually I'll be getting two as i have two season tickets." - another dig about not going to Sixfields

"
Just go then...what's the problem . It's not a dictatorship." & "Its all very confusing have morals" & "Oh the dilemma." - more digs about not going to Sixfields

"
Don't waste your time on here mate.gmk is the proper cov forum." - another dig at the forum

"And I am right . most threads on here are hijacked. ..mostly by your very own lunatic valiant."

and so on and so on.

So let's not pretend you are some innocent desperate for some reasonable conversation if only those crazy anti-Sisu bunch would let you.

No doubt you're ready with a witty GMKism like "chomp" or "don't have a meltdown" or maybe some vague homophobic reference to maybe me liking you a little too much, but just stop a minute and think about it. We're all Cov fans dude and we're all guilty of ranting, insulting and taking threads off topic. It's just only some of us get pompous about others doing it.
