He does, and technical issues and a few rampant trolls got the better of him early on, not to mention the CET shutdown pushing a large amount of people over here meaning that instead of GMK being down and you'd go to LAST or TWT to see the same posts that were there last week, you'd come here and have numerous threads on the go. If I'm honest, at first it was like the CET forum lite, but as technical issues pushed people over it became a nice mix.
I like knowl and he speaks a lot of sense, but I don't think he realised at first how important good moderation is on a forum. We used to take the piss out of Nick (still do) on GMK for over-moderating, but ultimately most people want threads on topic and abuse under control and that grew the audience. After a few more database errors you think "what's the point?"
